what kind of comic (Patreon)

just a quick question about whether you like to read black and white comics or full color.

i have this memory of being told that the west only wanted full color comics and i am curious if that is true at least with you all

Depends on the style honestly. Furry stuff I definitely prefer full color, but manga I actually prefer black and white.

i quite like your line art, so i vote for black and white only because i want to see more of that, but it is alright to see both.

I’ve dealt with black and white in cases like Sin City, where it fit into the storyline, but I vastly prefer color. Shading only goes so far with some artists lol

I like both...I figure the reason "they" say the "west"only likes "western"comics is they wuz fighting manga...wellllll that idea died in broad day light on main street usa this year...

that's good to know. i have read a lot more manga and French or Belgium (asterix the gaul, tintin and some milo manara stuff) and my favorite western comic is Xenozoictales by mark schutlz. i think i can get more story pages done with just a black and while style or maybe add in a flat color like with my study of Mark Schultz so i am trying to gauge where you all stand on colored comics

maybe, but at least one person whom i talks to was complaining that he could not get his black and white comics to sell at that time because the market wanted only color work for comics...or at least for western comics
