yes! that is  much better hand gestures.  it took me a while of fiddling but i finally got all the hand gestures to look dramatic and no longer "compete"  visually with any other part of the image.  i also went and made a 3d mock up for the guys head because the base sketch was looking too cartoony and would feel disconnected to the rest of the series

Phana loves herself a good drama. She's always overacting. Must be that weird face she got, halfway between a crooked beak and a moth face... which cannot emote at all. 😂🤣👍💖 But yes, the diagram on the white/black board behind them should show your average automatic watch mechanism https://img.piaget.com/flexible-5/7126ca4520a49ef0c76cf5a840f2c75311a91788.jpg hinting at the fact that Phana (somehow) breaks all laws of physics and can wind herself just by moving (which, to be fair, she does a lot, see above) This was seen in all the scenes where she does not (indeed) have a keyhole. And that was no mistake (believe it or not, it's canon), while the shape of the head has varied wildly and other stuff too... that... was actually on spot. 😂🤣😂🤣 The only part of the comic where she wrecks herself is when she goes on a self-misery trip later on and unwinds herself by overthinking and doing nothing, which manages to unwind her. One good shoulder shake later and a stern talk and she'll be back on track. 😂🤣😂🤣

i must be honest, its a bit more fun drawing her without the 3d more (aside from her head) because it's easier to get the bombastic gestures a character like her needs
