Holly and Janelle reunite and share more than memories...

I've been looking forward to writing Holly and Janelle's reunion for quite a while. These two have been through so much, both together and apart. And their experiences with Second Dawn have been very, very different. Are they even the same people who helped and comforted each other all those years ago?

I can't wait to hear your thoughts! 😊

That was predictably awesome. Holly is a villian. And the return of Angela for a cameo! We love Angela!!!!

Great to see all the girls.

Nina

The web keeps on spinning and growing! Excellent as always Emory! Janelle is completely valid in her thinking. Holly has seriously become a moral dilemma. I wonder what this whole even that Jill is being prepped for truly entails. I was simply under the assumption it would be some new way to incorporate reproduction and truly make “Jack” into a female Jill. Now Im not so sure and feel like Xu is somehow a truly omnipotent god. Janelle might be on the right wavelength here. Can’t wait to see how you expand the story!!

I love to keep seeing more of all the characters! And what a sexy chapter!

Janelle, by far the one of them most used to surveillance being used against them, really should have pushed Holly more about hidden cameras! I love every shot with the two of them together. The contrast is incredible: Holly’s completely comfortable in her body and Janelle’s just… not. She can fake it, and she’s good at it, but next to a girl who *enjoys being a girl*, it’s obvious. Holly’s also kinda walking on eggshells in these early pages. It’s cute (and *doesn’t* make me preemptively sad because I’ve read the whole thing already, nope). Also, Janelle, I don’t think you were caught because you were careless; you were merely caught slightly earlier. Early Xu, just getting started with Second Dawn and so without a huge organisation to protect? I bet he would have torn the planet apart to find Holly. Horrible also to learn over the course of this how little Janelle’s been a part of things. Xu took her whole life from her, and yet she’s barely involved in any of it. And her one night with Holly was her saving grace! Holly doesn’t even know how much she’s about to hurt Janelle, and now that they’re back together there’s no way the truth isn’t going to come out. I suppose it’s better to do it right away (after some orgasms); at least it can’t fester between them. If there even is going to be a ‘them’ after this… I think, Hol, when Janelle thinks back to you saying you owe her your soul, she might prefer you keep it. Holly’s insecurity about her body is back! Babe, no-one cares that your squishy bits are half plastic, they just want to squish them. I still love page six. Just the two of them. Janelle starting to relax, to feel at home with someone for the first time in forever. I keep thinking back to when she met up with Emily and Mason, how she casually stripped off like she didn’t care. Because… she didn’t. Because this isn’t her body. But you get the feeling, after enough time with Holly, it might be, once day. Oops. Everything with them getting together finally is cute as HELL. Especially with Janelle getting turned on for the first time since the last time she was with Holly. Those rusty nerve endings finally firing up again. …And then it all comes crashing down. How will Janelle deal with the foundation of her new life being torn out from under her? How will Holly cope with her newly rediscovered conscience getting the battering of its life? Will Angela ever get a blouse that will stay buttoned up? I love this story so much, even when it makes me cry. Especially when it makes me cry.

Nothing more hot erotic than asking pleading yelling fuck me now as Holly sticks her erection in her humping

Rex

Janelle’s got herself a bit of a “muffin top”, doesn’t she.

Ken

The end of this part reminds me a bit of Dorley when Aaron was talking about judging the way Steph was coping. Obviously the morality involved in this situation is a lot less clear cut and Holly has done some atrocious things, but while she could have walked away as Xu said she would have been doing so with no money, identity, or connections to fall back on, a new and abused woman completely alone in the world, she would have also been doing so knowing that her lover was still being held hostage, mutilated, and assaulted by the same man who did so to her. This is not something either woman is going to be able to get over easily, though I hope they do. Both because regardless of whatever else has happened a lot of what they have been through has been for eachother and because this is just another one of Xu's manipulative and masochistic games and if nothing else it would be nice to see him start losing.

The blue sky found its sea, tenderly with passion they met again and gave birth to a new thunderbolt. Thanks EA.

Angela is an underrated beauty. I always forget about her until she shows again.

Nice reunion of Holly and Janelle, very ironic. Role swapping, of half role swapping hehe, well brought Em. Once past the climax, the truths come...and they hurt. I hope, for Holly's sake, that Janelle can get over it. And very interesting Xu's final thoughts, which I agree with in part. I am somewhat more condescending to Holly than the old bastard. You've literally ruined her life, physically and socially, what did you expect, for her to go out into the real world with one hand in front and one hand behind? He says he hasn't grown up like others. I disagree, I think she has, she is a survivor who has been able to mold the "shell with the fruit", and she is playing the game of her new life with the cards she has been dealt. I think we should not rush to label her as morally incorrect, I think she still has cards to play and depending on how she plays them, we will be able to judge her correctly. Also, let's not forget that she unlike the other Second Dawn members and handlers, he/she was a victim first. PS: I'm a bit disturbed about the cameras, has Holly really checked the room? She won't continue to play... I love the nuances of your stories Emory, they always leave you wanting more and with lots of questions to be answered....

MaggieHeels

Not rush to label her as morally incorrect? eh... i am completely lost here... let's do a quick recap... For me Holly is a person who was deeply experienced by life.... What's done is done.... but does that excuse her wholeheartedly from what she did later? She helped castrate against their will more than a hundred innocent guys?.... If this is not immoral then it means that I, in that case, do not know what it means.... according to me, Anakin Skywalker next to her is a small pixie.... Holly joined the dark side of the force and that can not be explained otherwise. The only salvation for her imho is what she will decide to do from now on... ;)

Juliet Taylor Briar

Yessss, yessss! Fuck you Holly, Fuckk youuuuuu.

Juliet Taylor Briar

I may be shitty for thinking it but i dont like holly, Xus right. Shes just a monster who tells everyone and herself that shes innocent.

ckarya

That's exactly my point, Maggie, it depends on what she does from now on, she will have redemption or not. It is clear that her behavior up to now has been and is really immoral and reprehensible, but it is also true that she has been kidnapped, her father has been murdered and she has been ruined, physically, socially and monetarily.... I don't think it would be very easy to emerge from that being an angel. I would like to think (that's what I would like), that her movements, apart from the merely selfish ones, go a little further and are aimed at a slow revenge, served on a cold plate and with leaden feet. When I was writing the previous comment and this one, I am very conflicted with the character, because obviously what she has done to more than 100 men is morally and ethically despicable, but it is also true that she is not driven by perverted and evil impulses like the members of Second Dawn. She is also a victim of those bastards and she is surviving. Now, she is moving on a very very fine line, where right now she seems to be on the dark side, but in the future and depending on how she acts she may come back to the light... not bright and spotless, but at least with a candle or two hehe. This is why I love Emory's stories, both the characters and the plots have a thousand faces and a lot of complexity in their development.

MaggieHeels

Oh, you meant the after events... OK... but still you're trying to minimize somehow her evil deeds because of what happened to her with which I personally, subjectively not sure if can agree with... ;) From my point of view if something looks bad and irreversible it is bad and irreversible... and I wouldn't try to compare this case to let's say stealing a bread to not die from hunger keeping in mind that stealing is bad ;) here we have a bit different caliber ;) Nonetheless I strongly wish for Holly to attain her redemption by doing equall amount of good things from now on to regain the balance for her soul :D

Thank you, Nina! Holly buried her morality in the deep, deep recesses of her mind and heart. She never sought the role Xu foisted on her, but she also didn't turn him down when offered. Can we really blame her for wanting to at least have some agency over her own fate? Yes, other men were captured by Second Dawn because of her actions, but wouldn't that have happened anyway? We know from Jill's part of the story that Holly has established some kind of group nicknamed the "coven" that seemingly treats the so-called "companions" much more gently than Mr. Davis. Would that have happened if Holly hadn't taken on Xu's offer? Still, Janelle's reaction is understandable. She always believed Holly was suffering alongside her, that they were in this together, but now she learns that Holly's been living a much better life because she is working with the enemy. That's a bitter pill to swallow. As for Jill's future... You're onto something for sure. 😀

emoryahlberg

Thanks, Ella! I, too, love seeing them together. We'll be getting more of that in these phases as the story threads come together. 😊

emoryahlberg

That's not shitty at all. My feeling is that although Holly would defend herself from being called a "monster," she'd actually agree with you. The difference between her and somebody like Xu is that she does actually feel guilty. For a long time, she shut that emotion down, but Jill has taught her how to care again...and that's not going very well for her at the moment. 😉

emoryahlberg

Great comment, ckarya--and fun discussion! 💖 I agree with that it's easy to rush to judgement when it comes to Holly's actions. But you're absolutely correct that she was put in a terrible situation and had to make difficult choices. Can any of us really say we wouldn't choose to "side" with our kidnappers if it meant a relatively comfortable life vs. one of abject poverty? Every choice she made was under extreme duress. And, like you said, she isn't a sadist. She never sought this life of capturing men and changing them against their will as was done to her. Holly is both a survivor and a victimizer. The question she faces now is whether she'll continue as one or the other. 😊

emoryahlberg

Yay! Gosh but your comments always make me so happy, Alyson. 💖 I'm so happy you were able to catch the differences between Holly and Janelle's body language. I was afraid it might be too subtle, especially in still images. Poor Janelle's body has never actually belonged to her. Xu changed Jason so drastically and so quickly that, like Joey/Josie there was no time to adapt. For years she has just been gritting her teeth and trying to get through each day without going insane. Her nerve-endings FINALLY reconnecting after all these years when she was with Holly were the first inklings of her body becoming HERS again. Was that all undone by Holly's casual revelation? I loved their intimate moments and I felt so, so bad knowing what would happen at the end. Although Xu and Holly spoke about the fragility of Jill's identity, right now Holly's identity is also under serious assault. She has been able to keep her sanity and her sense of self by not caring what others think of her. The only problem is that, up until now, the "others" have been people she hated: Davis, Xu, and the rest of Second Dawn. Now, she's being judged by Janelle and Jill (although she doesn't know this yet), and her shields are taking a serious pounding. Because the truth is she DOES care, and she doesn't WANT to be a monster... But if you wear a mask for long enough, the mask becomes your face. The future of their relationship is up to Janelle's capacity for empathy and forgiveness -- and if Holly is willing to truly change, despite Xu's prediction that she's incapable of it. Janelle wanted to burn Second Dawn and everybody involved to the ground. Can she still do that if Holly is inside, burning with the rest? And, Ken, I think you're absolutely right that it's easy for us to judge Holly. But the idea of being tossed into the world with a new gender (which she was, at the time, still adjusting to) and with no identity and no money would be a terrifying prospect to anybody. Can we say that she really had a choice?

MaggieHeels

Hmmm I'm starting to feel a bit weird in this conversation (do not want to say "uncomfortable")... I stated my subjective opinion on what I saw/read... about "facts" that happened in this story already (I leave aside the fact that the case involves a fictional story) and you both are talking about "what ifs" this is the difference between us here... You both are trying to legitimize doing bad things if under terrible situation... let's clarify something :) Doing bad things is always bad NO MATTER WHAT... and it is also obvious that a person under extreme pressure probably will choose to do a bad things to save own life... Was Holly's life endangered whole time? Did she enjoyed at any time what she was doing? She's aware of what she did and how bad that was... She had plenty of time to rethink all of this. I have a hope she'll want to redeem herself now :)

ckarya

I think therein lies the crux of the matter, as Emory says in some previous comment, Holly even knowing that what she is doing is bad, knows that if it weren't for her and the coven she has created (I'm looking forward to learning more about said coven), the things they being done to the abductees would be terribly worse. She with her horrible acts, because yes, it's are too and she knows it, at least she is making sure that not all those boys are mere playthings, at least she has made some of them something a little less evil, companions, and have a way to survive for what awaits them in the future. Now, as I said before and I understood Emory from her comments, Holly is not going to "get off scot-free", and now, all those years of helping Xu, even though she thought she was doing the lesser evil, are going to come back to haunt her. We'll see how she comes out of it. If you notice, right now Jill is being put in the same position as Holly by Xu. He wants her as his replacement and she is having the same moral dilemma that Holly faced at the time: Help Connor and Ryan to have a better future by going into the system and slowly make Second Dawn better --> what Holly did. Try to run away if possible --> almost impossible. Holly tried that with Joel and we already know the consequences..... Hi Janelle! Or overthrow the system --> maybe now with the knowledge of Holly, Jannelle, her coven... and with the help of her sister and Mason? they have a better chance. It is also clear that Jill is not Holly, both have different lives and personalities so we will see what she decides to do and why, if they join forces or become enemies... that's only in Emory's little head😘 We can only wait and see without biting our nails hehehe PS: obviously this is fiction, let's not forget, and I try to put myself in the fictional protagonists' shoes, so the moral dilemmas are obviously more lax than in reality.😉

MaggieHeels

Yeah, yeah... I sometimes forget myself and treat those fantasy world too serious... :D I can't wait what will happen next... I hope for joining forces and overthrow the system to make it work for the bright side of the force now... :D

stacy C

Hmmm what an interesting chapter.....spicy with a generous helping of self moralization and delusion hehe x
