Jill's "training" as a handler continues at the hands of Mr. Davis, and she learns some difficult truths...

Delays are never fun. But, at least in the case, it resulted in a much bigger episode. We have 25 new pages, plus a bonus pinup. 😊

Jill learns a lot in this episode, and there's even more to come. Will she be able to keep it together as her old life falls further and further behind?

I can't wait to hear what you think! 💖

P.S. I really enjoyed the bonus pinup... 😄

Poor Jill, Davis always seem to be two steps ahead of her. She needs to get smarter to deal with these people. On the other hand E, Jill is prettier and prettier with each rendering. I'm so in love with her. The realistic detail of her hands was amazing.

Ooh the truth comes out! The twist

Wow, what a chapter, a lot of mental game in it. Davis has told Jill a lot of "truths" that have sent her reeling... but peppered with a good amount of lies to confuse her, make her more desperate and to win her over to the organization's cause. Because although I've said before that I don't trust Holly very much, we do know that the photos they found in Xu's office were not staged... that they put them there for her to see, yes, but with what intention, we don't know, but we do know that Emily's conspiratorial meeting with Mason and later with Josie and Connor, was not staged. Nikki's escape was another set up? I doubt it even more hehehe. In short, what a great chapter, because it seems that some questions are answered... but many more are opened! I imagine that in the next chapter we will know something more about Ryan's backstory. His story must be very interesting because he's been on the Island as long as Jill and they still haven't managed to break him.... I'm looking forward to it! I hope you are feeling better Em. Keep up the good work and keep up your amazing art and wonderful "twisted" stories! 😘

You did not disappoint today. well worth the wait

I had no respect for Davis before yet somehow you made that scumbag POS seem trustworthy. Bleh, even with his mouth full of truths we know he is the devil. I'd trust Holly's lies over Davis truth's any day of the week

So... my big philosophical question for today: Is a man, who refuses to be feminized... even when there is ABSOLUTELY NOT ALTERNATIVE, sexist/misogynist? I mean don't get me wrong, Mr Zu should should be locked up with the key thrown away for what he is doing. But, if I were in the same situation as Ryan, I think I would have submitted to my feminine self a long time ago! When life gives you lemons, make lemonade (and I like lemonade!). Great story telling, Emory!

This is how you think... but there are millions of "omega straight" men who would always choose death instead of living as a woman to the rest of their lives...

I’m going to have to read this and reflect on it several times before I’ll feel ready to comment. There’s just so much going on which confounds what Jill’s believed to be true which isn’t. And the way that you convey her growing realisation is simply heartbreaking. It’s brilliant art. Watching her crumble inside is horrible, but then she regroups somehow and a renewed resolve emerges from somewhere. And you make it all appear on her face. Amazing.

Our beautiful Jill, enters a field where the continuity of her relationship with herself will be put to the test by a scenario that will exceed her logic acquired until now. She has all the qualities to compete with the big cats. She has the determination to succeed and above all beauty...does she know all the secrets, even the intimate ones, of this mystery...it is said that beauty is the exultation of truth, this exalted truth which will only be a woman. A rich journey strewn with pitfalls that will make Jill a fearless Amazon, discovering the dizzying power of her inner reality. Who does not advance, retreats will be his hidden thought. Thank you Emory

A great chapter full of content, but very far of being boring! Great work, Emory! And yes, Jill is gorgeous!

Well there were some shocks in that one......and poor Ryan, those bruises look painful. Hopefully Jill will be able to help him accept his situation x

Yeah, Davis is a manipulative piece of crap and he’s definitely praying in Jill’s fears. But he’s also not entirely wrong. That’s what makes him so effective: The best liars tell the truth. And thank you! I’m always working to improve, so I’m glad you’re seeing those efforts pay off. 😁

Boom! Poor Jill is losing faith that she’ll ever be free. To be fair, Holly warned her about this way back when they were doing yoga right after her FFS. She told Jill that Xu would probably let her go once day — but when that day came, she wouldn’t want to leave.

emoryahlberg

If anyone can, it's our Jill! Still, she definitely has her work cut out for her this time...

Thank you, thank you, Ella! 💖 Yeah, this chapter was chockful of emotion and twists. That's why it was so long! But creating it was also really fun -- if somewhat time-consuming lmao.

emoryahlberg

Thank you so much for your amazing comment, ckarya! 💖 As I've said elsewhere, the best liars are those who tell the truth. Davis is an expert manipulator. He knows how vulnerable Jill is feeling now with her future in doubt. The "Coming Out" dinner is only a few days away! She's standing on the edge of a cliff and has no idea what's at the bottom. We're going to get to see Ryan's story in a bit of a flashback so we can see his changes. 😊

emoryahlberg

Your instincts about him are right on the money, Bell. Although Holly is definitely working for Xu, that doesn't mean she's working AGAINST Jill. She has already told Xu that she genuinely cares for Jill. The question, of course, is how far she's willing to go to help Jill... Especially now that Xu has offered her an out PLUS $10 million.

emoryahlberg

This is an excellent question, Bowie. And when you think about it, that is the heart of the Jack & Jill story. Has Jack experienced a kind of 'identity death' because he is now identifying as Jill? Holly would argue that the person hasn't fundamentally changed, even if they've grown (and shrunk 😉) and changed. Does Jill's ability to adapt mean that she's weaker than Ryan? Or is she the stronger because she was able to bend and not break?

emoryahlberg

This is such a wonderful comment to read, Robert. Thank you! I really wanted to convey all of the tumultuous emotions Jill was experiencing, and it's really gratifying that this came through in the art. 😀

emoryahlberg

Thank you, France! I love your poetic comments on the chapters. Jill is definitely (slowly) discovering her inner, fearless Amazon. Let's hope she doesn't come out to fight too late!
