Sometimes peace is worth any price. 😉

“No cavities this time, Ms. Castro,” I said, helping myself to a lingering look at her bountiful cleavage.
“Don’t call me ‘miss,’ pendejo. You know damn well who I am.”
“I know damn well who you used to be,” I replied. “I also know damn well who your father is, and what would happen to my family should I defy his instruction to treat you as a woman.”
“This is a nightmare.”
“I can only imagine,” I sighed, and it was true. The poor young man had been forcibly feminized due to circumstances beyond his control. Personally, I would’ve eaten a bullet rather than become the gorgeous creature seated in my dentist’s chair, but perhaps he was more…malleable. “But I do believe that with all the procedures I’ve done over the last year, you have the most perfect teeth in all of Columbia! And thank God! After the amazing work of your father’s doctors, surgeons, and beauticians, I certainly don’t wish to be the one to ruin their efforts.”
“Yes, yes,” Ms. Castro grumbled. “I’m sure my father will be pleased.”
“I hope so! After all, I was given a more difficult job. You were always slight, and many ladies considered you a ‘pretty boy,’ but your dental hygiene was, sadly, just awful!”
“Yes, and now my teeth are as fake as the rest of me.”
“Artificial is better!” I declared. “Nature decays, the artificial remains. When is the wedding again?”
She sighed gloomily. “Next Friday.”
“I know you cannot see it, Ms. Castro, but your father has done a great thing by accepting the terms of the truce. Offering up his only son to become the bride of his most hated rival? Why, this alliance will save countless lives.”
“Yes, but I am losing my manhood!”
I was happy my mask hid my grin. “From what I understand, it was a very small price to pay.”
