But a fan wrote this great sequel to "His Mother's Twin" and I had to make a caption out of it. 😀

“That’s it, right? That was the last of my… my treatments?”

“Almost all. The scalpel marks to your face and breasts have healed, but there is still the matter of that thing between your legs. Still, it’s so small as to be barely worth it. Hmm...”

“Please, I’ve been good. I’ve done everything you asked, even started dressing and acting like you wanted, doing my makeup...”

“Yes, and you’ve become quite the expert, too. You look so much like her, it’s heartbreaking and wonderful at the same time. Still, you have none of my dear sister’s humility or grace. It would seem it’s much easier to change the body than the spirit. I suppose I should’ve known that’d be the case. That said, just because it’s difficult doesn’t mean it’s impossible. We’ll have to redouble our efforts.”

“Oh, God. Please, I just want to see my dad, like you promised.”

“Oh, for goodness sake. Are you still holding out hope of him saving you? Of sweeping you up and carrying you away from this place? That’s ridiculous.”

“He’d never let you do this to me. Never!”

“Oh? I’m not sure I agree. We both know your father isn’t exactly kind or generous. So what makes you think he’ll revert you to the young man you were before, even if he could? Not when he has  the opportunity to have back the wife he thought lost.”

“What are you saying?”

“You know exactly what I’m saying. Ah, well. I never could say no to you, dear sister. You’ll have the reunion you seek, although it might not be quite the one you expect. I’ll call him now—go ahead, take a shower and put on your face. I want you pretty as a picture when you see your dear old daddy again.”

“Y-yes, auntie.”
