An old, familiar face makes an appearance...

This episode ended up being a lot longer than I originally planned at 34 pages! But I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Also, I included the "dramatis personae" at the front in case you needed a fresher on the characters. Let me know if this is helpful or distracting!

Also, if you're interested in Olivia, you can find her transition story here!

Woooooooow ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Omagathief

Oh dear Jack’s/Jill’s dad, are you really about to do “this”?

Tiki D

This chapter is interesting and important due to the perspectives of Emily and Jack based on Jack's early lifestyle living on the beach before Second Dawn. Emily and some extent their dad want to help Jack improve his lifestyle by going to law school like his sister, but Jack refused. Not helped, Jack has complicated relationship with his father from his perspective on he was treated by him after their mother died. Also, previous chapter gives this one much more emotional weight from Emily's perspective due how she tried to reach her brother but failed. Why does the last few pages have foreshadowing for Mr. Larson similar to Conner's fate?

Wojtek

At the mention of Madison, I recalled meeting her meeting with Davis and she is too beautiful for him, maybe Xu in general should get pissed at Davis and put him through the process of feminizing him to give him to Hutchinson for example. that would be a beautiful crossover episode😈❣️ Thanks Emory for this backstory Emily, as you can see she is still going through this and loves her brother/sister🤔 💖💝?

I’ll just say I want more and more of this extraordinary story!

Maggie Heels

I can't wait for the sisters' night out... they're having a lot to catch up... and I guess now they'll have more common topics to talk about... 😁🤭

Jay

To be fair idk many who could resist soledad

Sky

Amazing to see so many caring people for Jack . Question is why ? Jack is all for himself . Time for these beautiful bodies to explode sexuality . For sure we all have been graving Jills nude body sweat breath moan orgasm with other beautiful bodies . Emory has made the ultimate body face in Jill . Time to take this body out to mate .

Jade Diaz

it’s never fully struck me until today how well you illustrate the Larson familial look… Jack and Larson _pere_ look like father and son. While Emily and Jill look like sisters! Wow, that is amazing work 😍

Wojtek

Great idea Maggie, especially since the newfound sisters could now reconcile, since Jack with his younger sister didn't seem to like each other very much. Even as Jill didn't recognize his sister and took his anger out on Josie's “bodyguard” though in this case probably shouldn't be surprised if we know what goes on there!

You really made cry tears seeing the flashback of Jack and Emily. I had almost forgotten what was Jack was like...the complete opposite of Jill. As for Tiffany, Davis, what did you do your repulsively evil piece of human garbage? How many of the "Attritions" are you and Hutch responsible for? Muse Emory, I noticed you did grant a request to have Emily dressed in armor like Joan of arc. I was wondering...respectfully requesting if time permitting...if you can have Olivia, my very own Summer Chastity Crowe or Shunfen Xu explain the differences between the "Privilege Levels 0-4". Or better yet, Ryan...after becoming...just slightly...more adjusted.

Gemma

Looking back, I forgot how enormous the physical and psychological changes that occurred from when Jack became Jill. The earlier interactions between Jack and Emily helped greatly to understand complexity of their relationship, the chip on Jack’s shoulder and mis steps that took place in Emily’s attempt to heal fractured communications in the family. It highlightsEmily’s kind nature and some of the new qualities arising in Jack as he became Jill.

E, the hands detail on page 18 is top notch. It looks like HD fotography. That's impressive! You're a master at this!

Great work!

To be fair, Soledad was on him before he had a moment to react. Let’s see the next frame.

Another masterstroke by returning to the very beginning of the saga, now literally all those years ago, and reminding us of the Larson family and sibling dynamics, Emory. Also a sobering reminder of all the physical changes that Jack has undergone, although the blue of those eyes remains constant, and has through everything, including all the cosmetic surgery forced on him as he has gradually transformed into Jill in both body and mind. As others have said, this is an important episode which adds significance to the narrative in terms of the entire Larson back story. You’re one hell of a writer, Emory.

emoryahlberg

Yeah, Mr Larson didn't even know what was happening! We'll have to see what he chooses to do next. 😉

Thank you, Tiki! I wanted to explore the complex family dynamics that shaped Jack before his transformation. The beach flashback shows how Jack's carefree lifestyle was a form of rebellion against his father's expectations, but also a way of coping with his mother's death. Emily's attempts to help come from a place of love, but they're tainted by her alignment with their father's values. This tension sets up the emotional gut punch for Emily when she finally sees what Jack has become.

emoryahlberg

Thank you, Wojtek! Oh man, Davis would make one ugly woman! And yeah, Emily's relationship with her sibling is super complex. I'm excited to explore how she deals with seeing Jack as Jill. It's going to be a rollercoaster of emotions for sure!

emoryahlberg

Thanks, Sky! I think Jack's selfishness is part of what makes him compelling. He's deeply flawed, but there's an underlying vulnerability that draws people in. His bravado is a mask for his insecurities and trauma.

emoryahlberg

Thank you, Jade! I'm so glad you noticed that! I love the idea that Emily and Jill look more alike now than Jack and Emily ever did. 😊

emoryahlberg

I'm glad the flashback hit you in the feels! That scene was tough to write - I wanted to show how much Jack has changed, but also highlight the complex relationship he had with Emily. It's bittersweet to see who he used to be. I like the idea of explaining the Privilege Levels through Ryan's perspective. I'll keep that in mind for future episodes! But, basically... PL-0 is basically a prison cell. Bare concrete, no amenities, not even a proper toilet. Just a hole in the floor. It's designed to break spirits quickly. PL-1 adds basic comforts - a real bed, a toilet, maybe some books. PL-2 is where they start dangling carrots - nicer furnishings, a TV, better food. But it's all about control. PL-3 is the first taste of "freedom" - mingling with others, access to common areas. It's designed to create a sense of community among the captives, but it's still heavily monitored. PL-4 is the golden cage. Luxury suites, spa treatments, gourmet meals. But it comes at a price - total compliance and acceptance of their new identity. Usually only the companions get access to this. The whole system is meant to reward submission and punish resistance. It's a twisted form of operant conditioning, really.

emoryahlberg

Thank you, Gemm! When I was writing their backstory, I wanted to show how even well-intentioned actions can deepen rifts between family. Emily's attempt to help Jack comes from a place of love, but it's tainted by their father's influence. This interaction sets the stage for the guilt and determination that drive Emily's search for her brother! Of course, Jill's transformation isn't just physical - it's a complete rewiring of her identity. I think that's why her encounter with Emily is so jarring for both of them.

emoryahlberg

Thank you so much, Pelican! I spent probably too much time on that panel lol - so thanks for noticing!

emoryahlberg

Thanks for the kind words, Robert! I've always seen Jack/Jill's eyes as a symbol of their enduring inner self, despite all the external changes. When writing the flashback, I wanted to show how the seeds of Jack's later transformation were already present in his relationship with Emily and their father. The family dynamics play a crucial role in shaping who Jack becomes as Jill, I think. I'm fascinated by how our past influences our ability to adapt to extreme circumstances!

Jade Diaz

“Twisted” she says 🙄 I mean, sure if you don’t think like “morality” and “consent” are important…

stacy C

I do like the flashbacks....helps to flesh out the story :-) x

Robertlouis

That is brilliant, Emory. It’s another reminder of what sets you apart as a writer. My admiration knows no bounds.

emoryahlberg

Thanks, Stacy! Obviously, I agree! I think well-chosen flashbacks also help center us back on what this story is all about... Jack, becoming Jill.
