July Progress Update (Patreon)

I know it's a little early in the month for a progress update, but I wanted to do a public follow-up to my June Progress Update post so we are all on the same page.

I'm still working on Ménage à Moi and trying to get out a full demo that features the perspective of both protagonists (Kiersten and Rico). I already mentioned to my supporters that I'm changing Ménage à Moi to be a dual protagonist visual novel and comic. The story was already 90% of the way there, so I don't really have to make that many changes.

The new render at the top of this post is one from Rico's perspective for his introduction scene. What's remaining is a single scene and a couple of miscellaneous promo renders. After the updated demo is released, what happens afterward will depend on some things that are outside of my control.

What I mean is I foresee some major interruptions that I'll possibly be preoccupied with handling in the coming months. I'll likely be going on hiatus later this year as I'll be involved in a caregiving role for my family member undergoing cancer treatment. They are (finally) back home from the hospital and it's been such a relief for my family and I. Although they do have a rough road ahead of them, at least for now there is some semblance of normalcy.

So in the meantime, I'll continue working on my projects and I'll let you all know if the time comes for me to take a long break.
