It's here! After many months of work, there is something for you all to play with. As I said before, keep in mind that this alpha is primarily to test functionality. It will be extremely short in length and there is nothing sexy yet (well, a little bit if you know where to look). If you want a more complete experience, I'd recommend waiting until the next alpha. Basically, the addition of the second alpha is what could be considered a demo.

Alpha 1 Features:

  • Overhauled UI that includes accessibility options such as changing text size. Changes made to text will be reflected in dialogue, links, and menu options.
  • 28 renders
  • Over 300 lines of code (including dialogue)

What's missing?

Besides the rest of chapter 1 which consists of the first day, there are several individual render placeholders I left in that have yet to be made. Also, there are clearly two scenes missing. One is a flashback to the "incident". The other is the first erotic scene.

Essentially, this first alpha test represents the foundation I'm building upon. You are getting a glimpse at what all those months of prep work were for.

Downloads:

Installation Instructions:

For Windows, extract the folder and run the .exe like any other Ren'Py game. For Mac, the same deal: install and run it like any other Ren'Py games (I don't have a Mac to test on).

What's coming next?

I already have the missing scenes set up. I just need to do the posing and camera placement (lol "just" as if that's the easy part). I would have had more renders ready but getting the UI up snuff ate up a lot of my time this week. Rather than trying to rush the renders, I'm going to release them in the next alpha.

Once again, Alpha Test 2 will be available to all supporter tiers. I know the tiers say "public releases" as far as early access goes. I'll have to decide how to account for further alpha and possibly beta releases later.

Where can I leave my feedback?

Either in the comments of this post or in the Discord server under the channels #test-build-error-reporting and #testing-general.
