Plans for Q1 (Patreon)
Content
Here are my plans from now until the end of April. Everything listed is regarding Ménage à Moi.
Edit: I've changed the following list by removing the months and listing it in chronological order. Since I'm already "late" getting those two posts for Jan out, I might as well not hold myself to specific months when I can't guarantee it.
- Finish character and set design.
- Run render tests.
- Begin scene creation and rendering.
- Publish two posts: “Ménage à Moi Overview" and "Clarification on Kinks".
- Turn back on recurring payments after the 100 render threshold has been crossed. If the goal is met, then recurring payments will be re-enabled after a preface post.
- Finish scene creation and rendering.
- Write out dialogue and code into Ren'Py.
- Initial test of visual novel version (Ren'Py).
- Release VN version of chapter 1 to supporters (depending on tier).
- Edit existing renders and release a test comic version to supporters.
- Release comic version of chapter 1.
Above is the short version. Continue reading for more info.

My mental health has improved a great deal since my Halting Development post, but I still have quite a ways to go. So, I've decided to approach development at a more measured pace.
My new approach is why there is a condition before I turn recurring payments back on. Even with my more measured pace, I want to ensure that I'm not overdoing it by promising the Moon... again. I will drop a post to notify supporters when payments are about to begin again so they can determine for themselves if the new pace is acceptable.
I am also investigating upfront payment options given the past issues I've had trying to maintain a consistent production schedule. There are a ton of online stores where I can sell a visual novel or comic instead of the monthly subscription method. So, for those of you who want to specifically buy something as I release it, that option will eventually be available.
I'll talk more about monetization at a later time. For now, supporters can get their first look at some test renders of Ménage à Moi here.
