New Direction and Plans (Patreon)

In this post I will lay out the new direction I am taking. For all existing supporters, I recommend you contact me through email or Discord if you have any additional questions or need further clarification.

First up, I am making some changes that affect the tier structure and some benefits:

• BTS and progress update posts are now once a month for each. Why? It was too much of a time commitment to write up so many of these posts every month. Time that would be better spent on development.
• Tiers Dirty Thirty and Nice have been removed. Why? No one has every joined those tiers and I don't have the time anymore to fulfill their exclusive benefits anyway.
• Special Content Related Voting has been extended to Tier 3. Why? Too few supporters held too much sway in these polls. Plus with how rare polls are, I felt too much emphasis was being placed on this benefit.
• Early Access to public releases is now a tier benefit. Why? I'm no longer able to absorb the costs of visual novel creation as I did before. I need increased revenue to continue development of my projects.

Fantasy Dating

• Current Status: On Hold
• Next Estimated Test Release: End of Aug 2021
• Next Estimated Public Release: Q1 2022

Instead of cutting content or reworking the story to fit my budget, I'm hoping Motherhood will be successful enough to fund Fantasy Dating's continued development. This wasn't an easy decision, but it was one I had to make.

Holly the Helpful Elf

• Current Status: On Hold
• Next Estimated Public Release: TBD

This should come as no surprise, but, along with FD, it is on hold.

Motherhood

• Current Status: Full Production
• Next Estimated Test Release: November 2021
• Next Estimated Public Release: Q4 2021

Motherhood will have a early access period for supporters. For test releases, all tiers can download it the day of. For public releases, Tier 18 gets it 28 days early, Tier 3 gets it 21 days early, Tier 2 gets it 14 days early, Tier 1 and 1/3 gets it 7 days early.

Menage a Moi

• Current Status: Minimal Production
• Next Estimated Public Release: TBD

Since Menage a Moi uses the same sets as Motherhood, if I need to take a small break during the week from developing MH, I can easily work on this instead. In addition to releasing this as a comic, I may also be creating version in Ren'Py. Think of it like a short kinetic novel.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions, Fantasy Dating is not dead. There are a slew of previous posts with renders from Day 3 Sexpansion and Day 4. The reason for all these changes is my personal life and income have drastically changed since I started. Fantasy Dating is so expensive and intensive to develop that I must pause it to focus on other projects. Other projects that will hopefully bring in more supporters and income which I can feed back into its development.

I understand some supporters are only here for Fantasy Dating. If you feel then need to drop support until its next public release, then I understand. Obviously I hope you'll stay, but I get it. Life has a way of messing with expectations and plans. All I can say is, I'm trying my hardest to deliver a wide and wild variety of content.
