While it may be difficult at times to see, I tried my best to enhance the details in Ehrlynn's redesigned model. Most notably her skin. I had a careful balancing act to maintain, she is supposed to be somewhat unrealistic but at the same time she shouldn't look out of place. Also, her tail and hooves are designed to work with the specific set of textures that came with her model. I could try to PS some new ones, but that is beyond my current skill level.

My first attempt was using another character's HD details and applying them as is. HD details apply a morph to the model and do not affect the texture of the skin. However, this slightly changed the face, especially her lips. I needed another solution.

Basically, I was able to apply pores and creases without changing the way the texture "sits" on the face. If you download both images above and click back and forth, you'll see the differences. Obviously most of the camera angles in FD aren't such an extreme closeup, but it was important for me to learn and understand these options because there is a character related to Ehrlynn's background that serves as a reflection to her appearance.

I designed him so that he would have some of her same physical characteristics. Namely, an idealistic body shape, similar skin tone, and matching eye color. This is the first version, but I think he is good to go. I'll show more renders of him once I begin production on 0.4.
