Do you remember that they are away from the Fire Nation, right? Well, lets say that Azula made up certain custom that has gotten trendy in the mainland. Something about girls kissing they girlfriends to reinforce their friendship. And Tai Lee bought it, and Mei is being judgementa, but doesn’t want to pop Lee’s bubble despite she knows what Azula is on.
