Btw, mikasa always has her arm covered in the manga but wit removed it from her design. The mikasa reveal feels out of nowhere if you've only watched the anime but iseyama did foreshadow the reveal

Yeah in S1 Mikasa's mom shows Mikasa an embroidery with the design (many speculate that this is because of Japan's broadcasting rules in regards to showing tattoos(related to the yakuza) and especially tattoos on kids). Thus the reveal was there in the manga 100 chapters back but not in the anime. Another thing people should keep in mind when praising WIT too much

In season 2 when hannes died from the smiling titan eren was laughing. And in season 4 when sasha die eren was laughing. But when eren was laughing both times. It wasn't a jokingingly laugh like something funny happened it was him trying to cope. So say he disconnected from reality is a lie. And weren't you guys laughing when sasha died to but when eren does in a sad ways it's a problem?

I’d say anime watchers reacting to an ironic choice of last words is somewhat different than someone who is actually living in this fictional world who has that relationship with Sasha. I do agree that I think the laughter was out of hysteria and not genuinely laughing at her demise.

Marley was always going to attack regardless. At the end of the day, there is simply not enough time. It seems that Eren was all for peacemaking in the beginning (2 years ago), but once he realized Hizuru was not on board, that Marley was still planning to attack the island, and that the Corps had no strategies in place to counterattack, he took matters into his own hands. How it plays out, we have to wait and see. Great reaction!

Personally wouldn't support eren's actions but I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing being in his position. I feel like it's more about understanding then supporting what Eren is doing and wants to do. Floch i understand is a character people don't like for his strong beliefs and blunt characteristics but I find him as a fascinating character and you'll see in the upcoming episodes. You'll understand why Eren laughed eventually.

Yeah, The whole Monday morning quarterbacking the fandom does with anime onlies is laughable. You guys are not wrong. There is this weird undercurrent in the fandom that vehemently loves Eren and everything he does. I imagine you’ll see more of that as the story progresses. I say Let people have their genuine experiences and feelings about these characters & the story as it progresses for them . Don’t try to police peoples reactions. That being said, this part of the story harkens back to the intrigue of the uprising arc to me. It’s the connective tissue.

Back when the warriors breached wall Maria and our gang managed to escape, Eren gets in a heated argument with Armin who tells Eren that their only choice to live, is inside the walls in order to survive. Eren gets angry and tells Armin to "continue living like livestock, you weak piece of shit". Before Mikasa punches the Ereh out of him. If there is something Eren clearly does not like, is someone dictating his life or telling he can't amount to more than what is expected. And he hates the idea of being a slave to something, a livestock. Eren might lose from time to time but his determination is what makes his character more than just a typical MC, because the show almost fundamentally shifted to a whole bigger world to explore when we reached the basement and discovering that titans are not our main threat, it is the humans themselves that are. Erens conviction is so deep that I seriously don't believe anyone could change his mind. Like come on, this guy been traumatized since he was a child. He lost so many people he loved and that were close to him. It's almost like he has nothing to lose anymore. Let's not forget the Ymirs curse too, so time is limited. And the thing is, what ever happend that made him this way in these recent episodes should not be out of the ordinary, in fact it embraces Erens character regarding conviction, he believes in something so deep that he is willing to risk anything (Liberio massacre) and possibly everything?) to achieve what he has set in his mind. I do like the subtle tones and the mystery behind his character, because all we wanna know right now is what the hell is going on in his mind and not knowing what happend around the time jump. Mixing a bit of the Attack titan and Founding titan is a hell of a drug.

The entire burden of the survival of his people lies on Eren's shoulders. And he's dying soon. I think that's part of what has made him more radicalized. Also, one of the scenes I think illustrates this the most is in s1 when Eren and Levi squad are on horseback running from Annie. The choice between fighting or trusting his allies and living with the consequences.

MAPPA took production last minute. They brought in a ton of freelance artists. The artists were completely overworked. It was basically inhumane. It’s why the art/animations look iffy or different at times! They did wonderfully under the stressful conditions. Props to the freelancers but shame on MAPPA for the working conditions.

to defend Sasha, some some were saying that she was calling for Nicollo when she died because the japanese pronunciation for meat is niku. Same as when you try to say Nic.... I believe it because she was asking when the diner was ready just before. It could be a play on the double meaning by Isayama
