Just a bit of clarification. The Founding Titan(aka the Coordinate) is what allows for mind control, mind wipe, control of all Titans. It is connected to every single subject of Ymir. Think vampire mythology; the source connected to all of its progeny. Royal blooded Eldians possess special abilities of their own like accessing /unlocking memories & when made into shifters enhance the powers of the 9. For example Zeke’s Beast Titan displaying control over mindless Titans.

So I'll explain that last bit with Kruger for you if you don't understand it basically as eren explained by becoming a titan shifter you don't just inherit the titan powers but also memories of previous shifters of the titan you currently have , the tricky thing about this is that the memories you get aren't liner sometimes you'll get memories of the shifter you just ate and then you'll get cases like Kruger were he gets memories from a future inheritor , many people inturpate that being erens memories but there actually grishas future memories from when he gives eren the attack titan go back to previous episodes were they show the flash back and he says that exact same line .

38:00, Grisha just has a lot of hair on his attack titan, he is not a monkey so while yes is stature is similar to the beast titan. Grisha’s titan looks the way it does just as a character design. Also people’s pure titan and titan shifter appearances are different.

Ok final explanation sorry I don't remember your name but long haired dude you were questioning the consistency of why each titan shifter looks different well there's a simple answer the form each of the 9 titans take depends on ones personality that's why grishas attack titan looks different from erens and krugers , krugers likely looks like eren to make it recognizable to viewers so they can go " oh shit that's erens titan" but I can tell you one thing thats remined constant all 3 yeargers eren , grisha and zeke all have pointy ears in there titan forms so thats a family resimblemce they all share

Ok this is the last explanation for real this time , the memory manipulation is a founding titan ability that's why it was only shown with frida using it because she had the founding titan if any rice could manipulate memories there would be no urgency to retake the founding titan if they could still do it anyway , also no zeke wouldn't be able to do whatever he wanted if he got the founder remember anyone who possess royal blood that gets the founding titan will get brainwashed by the first king of the walls so even if he isn't a direct member of the family he would still get effected , as for zekes scream and his ability to control titans that will get explained in season 4 .
