  • While sketching and planning out this page, I wanted to recreate the high-kick pose that I drew from a previous page I worked on before. I took the 3D model and the brick floor from the previous page, and then changed the camera angle, so I could improve what I've done previously. Later on, I reused the same pose for the bottom panel, but this time I changed the camera angle and lowered the leg.

  • After fleshing out each panel, I wanted the top panel to feel more dynamic. So, I extended the kicking leg to push that perspective a little further than before. Then I roughed out all the poses, and I included some 3D models of shoes to make the detailing process quicker.

  • When it came time to outline the full page, I discovered that, thanks to this series, my panel layouts for the webtoon canvas, my inking abilities, and my speed have all increased. I eventually added all the textures, sound effects, and screen tones. For the bottom panel's attacks, I largely used gradients for each fire effect.
