Game 12 - Working Progress - Page 80 (Patreon)

- For this page, I roughed out all three poses for the main cast of this volume. Afterwards, I decided to ask one of my artist friends who is amazing at what he does to help me out with this page. So I sent this rough sketch to him so he could outline it while I focused on the last page.

- Afterwards, he send me this piece so I could fill it in with the necessary textures and tones for each character.  

- For the two characters here, I added some extra linework for Luke's shoes and then shaded each character. Then I added the textures for Violet's dress and then used a gradient to colour the dress as well. While I was shading these two characters, I figured out how to shade on top of the previous tones for the hair and dress. I changed the angle of the tones so it looks darker when placed on top of the previous tones. 

- I ended up testing this new way of shading by adding the tones for the shading on the dreads, and then I added the textures for the hair which made the shadows darker on the hair. Afterwards, I added more textures for the clothes before completing the page.

- After completing the whole pose I added all the artists' names who've helped me with this chapter and the previous chapter. Before saving the page as a PNG, I added some more effects using auto actions to complete the main poses.
