Game 11 - Working Progress - Page 1 (Patreon)

- For the first page I began by using two different 3D models for all three panels. The model for the top and bottom panels are a 3D model of Red from the Pokemon games, the middle panel is a 3D custom made model from the anime: Panty & Stocking with Garter belt. I began by posing each model on a separate canvas, so that I wouldn't be restricted to a small panel. Then I pasted the results onto the panels and converted the 3D models into outlines.    

- Afterwards I got to work on detailing all three panels, since this is a new chapter I decided design some smart/casual clothing for the main character. So I found some 3D shoes from the game: Splatoon 2 and incorporated them into the bottom panel. For the top two panels however I just drew over the models until I was satisfied with the results. 

- Later on I outlined each panel with some new brushes I downloaded from the Clip Studio Assets, these new brushes have different shaped tips so that I could get different kinds of strokes. For the bottom I decided to clean up the detailed sketch a little bit more and converted it onto a black and white drawing. 

- After completing the outlines I got to work on shading and texturing each panel with a new application where I can make webcomics a lot more easier. Then I decided to do something to make this issue interesting by changing the colour from black to a very dark grey, this was inspired by a previous volume I worked on before.
