- These are the original sketches of pages one and two. For these pages I wanted the main character, The transfer student, to start with really low grades and a low self esteem to walk in the school hallways until he bumps into the villain from the last chapter, Mr Clocksworth.

- Then I started detailing the panels, each panel I've detailed has either been drawn from scratch, reused poses from the previous issue of A-star Heroes and I've used 3D for the poses. For the backgrounds I downloaded some assets and I found one that resembles a school hallway, then I converted the 3D background into lineart. After finishing off the backgrounds I did copy the original 3D background once or twice so that I could change the lighting to create the black parts, then I cobbled it together with the original lineart for the background.

- Here's the finished results for page two. I ended up changing both poses for Mr Clocksworth and the top right panel of The transfer student. For Mr Clocksworth I created a reference sheet for each character in this comic, it comes in handy whenever I get stuck on drawing a character.

- For this panel I had a difficult time drawing the face. So what I did was I opened the first page from the previous issue so I could use that as a guide, but at this time I wanted to update the character art.

- Here's page two completed. I used a lot of vector layers to outline each panel and I since I was using a new layer setting, I can edit each outline without erasing or continuously drawing the same line over and over again.

- For page one I completed the outlines and backgrounds. The backgrounds were mostly done through manga textures and assets or using 3D backgrounds and converting them to line work. I left the faces blank so that I could focus on outlining the poses.

- After completing the faces for page one, I added some minor details to the papers for page two. Then I added more textures for the backgrouds for page one and I finally worded each page.
