Game 5 - Working Progress - Page 36 + 37 (Patreon)

• This was the original rough draft of pages thirty-six and thirty-seven. What I wanted from these two pages was the main character from this story coming back from his break, until he sees something that he shouldn't of seen.

• Detailing these pages was easy to do, mostly because almost most of the detailed backrgounds have been recycled from previous pages with little to no editing. Then after that I sketched and detailed the poses I wanted.

• After completing the backgrounds of page thirty-seven, I decided to add a large drop down gradient for page thirty-six, because the previous pages have a black background and it looks like a transition from dark to light.

• Afterwards I decided to look up some of Clip Studio Paints tutorials and that's when I discovered, Vector layers. My favourite part of using Vector layers is that you can edit the outlines without it messing up, and I can change the colour without using CTRL U all the time.

Then after discovering Vector layers, I finished off pages thirty-six and thirty-seven.

• For the speech bubbles, I had a great idea of drawing little faces of the famale character of this story. I did this mostly because I was inspired by what they do in manga when they don't show any of the characters when they're speaking.
