Important Reminder (Patreon)

Over the last couple of days there's been a bit of noise regarding a certain group of content creators whose receipts have surfaced (thanks mainly to simbelene) exposing something awful in this community: doxxing. I'm not going to be naming names (check out simblene's Tumblr if you want to read the deets) but I want to ensure all of my patrons that I both don't and will never share anyone's personal information. The idea is disgusting. Unfortunately, a certain group of selfish content creators have decided they are above the law and have been freely sharing your personal information between themselves in an effort to try and track down people who are leaking their content. 

Two wrongs don't make a right.

I feel compelled to warn you all to be very wary when it comes to the Patreon creators simbelene is exposing. One of them is a creator I particularly trusted - now I wonder if their files have filled my game with tracking codes or some such nonsense, not that I would ever share early release content. Everything about the situation is gross.

Anyway, this little post is just a heads up for you guys. Ultimately you must make up your own minds regarding who you trust online, but bear in mind that not every creator on this platform has your best interests in mind and unfortunately it is the ones who seem to be making $bank$ off this community who are the most problematic.

I also feel compelled to tell you guys that as a creator, I can see your email addresses. Every creator can. If you are a patron of the accounts in question, I'd recommend changing all passwords connected to your email address. It seems over the top perhaps, but considering the balls-to-the-wall insane receipts simblene is pulling up, I honestly wouldn't put it past those creators to hack people they believe might be leaking their content. UGHHHH.

Anyway, thanks for bearing with me. I love you all. I hope the community can move past this.
