The Daugon rises! (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

Our second creature of the month is here and this one goes faaar back, the 4th journal entry and 2nd creature done for the Sol'Kesh bestiary, back when it was a peninsula! Since then I polished up the creature, brightened up that sail and working with World Shaper to get it ready for 3D printing and D&D.

Although the daugon is evolved from hippopotamuses after 82 million years, it takes inspiration from a few animals, the life style and facial structure of a marine iguana, the sail of dimetrodon and the overall path of evolution that seals are taking. Whether its basking on the beach of plunging into the depths of the cold ocean, this thick mammal can suffer quite a few of Sol'Kesh's predators and hit back just as hard. And for the first time there will be a long ranged weapon to use some of the past release's arrows!  , though you need to slay two for some spines :\
