New Jeans' name was left out of a large-scale exhibition featuring stage costumes and concept photos of HYBE artists. HYBE explained that the decision was made based on their label choice.

According to the Associated Press on the 9th (local time), the Grammy Museum will hold the 'HYBE: We Believe In Music' exhibition from February 2nd to September 15th. The Grammy Museum explained on its homepage that it "will present an interactive exhibition that highlights the legacy of HYBE, a trend-leading global entertainment brand" and that "we planned the exhibition in collaboration with HYBE."

The participating artists of the exhibition listed on the Grammy Museum homepage were Zico, BTS, Seventeen, Tomorrow x Together, fromis_9, Enhypen, Le Sserafim, &TEAM, Boynextdoor, ILLIT, and Katseye.

What caught attention was that Katseye, who debuted less than a month ago, was listed, but New Jeans, a label under HYBE, was not. Netizens responded with various reactions such as “This is breaking news,” and “Katseye is there, but why isn’t New Jeans there?”

However, HYBE emphasized to Sports Kyunghyang on the same day, “Whether or not we participate in this exhibition was determined by the label’s choice.”
