Sigh..... while trying to make the characters more complex the writers failed to see the complexities all the characters already had and stripped then away and personally not a fan of how koh was introduced he doesn't feel like the old knowledgeable sadistic spirit that he was in the original he just feels like a monster of the week type in my personal opinion

I really like how this episode had an undertone of horror to it, the vibe was creepy and off putting. Wan Shi Tong awe inspiring and terrifying, Koh was something out of a horror movie, his voice sent chills up my spine. The effects and visuals of this show are pretty good and solid. Just wanted to say, Rest In Paradise to the legendary and iconic Akira Toriyama. The man created a series that opened the floodgates for the world of anime/manga as we know it today. One of the most impactful creators the world ever produced.

Arden Cho, the actress who played June. Was top notch casting. I like the scene with Azula and Ozai, I appreciate them for trying to add some depth and nuance his character. Again I’m lightweight Avatar fan, so I might be wrong in my assessment, but do believe that Azula did harbor some massive subconscious jealousy of Zuko. Specifically when it came to their mother. I appreciate the show for playing with that aspect of the fire princess’s personality. Again Rest In Peace to the late great legendary Akira Toriyama.

Idk I guess for me I can give the adaptation more leway cause we've seen soo many adaptations of superhero stuff and even Harry potter I love the movies more than the books it just depends, this does some stuff good others not as much but I overall enjoy what there trying to do don't get hung up on the differences so much its just a show
