when sukuna used his domain expansion against mahoraga that sliced everything in a certain radius, inumaki sadly happened to be a little too close and it cut off one of his arms. the sub makes it sound like both were cut off but it was just one. yea i wished they included that explanation in the anime for anime onlys but the studio fumbled it haha

The anime included all the information the manga did about Inumaki. The reason we know it was Sukuna’s DE that sliced his arm off was because in the Maho vs Sukuna fight we saw a group of survivors talking about Inumaki helping them before they all get sliced up. That was included in the anime too.

The narrator isn’t Yuki, and the higher ups of Jujutsu are corrupt as fuck. They been wanting to execute Yuuji and the Shibuya incident is the justification they been waiting and looking for. Remember they also wanted to execute Yuuta, and Gojo stopped both. The higher up hate Gojo because he wants to change the Jujutsu system and Gojo hates them for being super corrupt.

Great question on why curses are mostly in Japan. Without giving away anything, this is why Yuki said that Tengen must feature in any plan that fake-Geto has, because Tengen has something to do with this.

People need to understand that Gojo supposedly killed Geto. So since his body is alive they used this to assume he was an accomplice since he didn't "killed" him

They arent corrupt, they are just stubborn and believe anything “evil” like yuuta’s curse should be executed immediately. As with Yuuji, they didnt want Sukuna around so they wanted him dead immediately. Its not corruption, they just refuse to change some ideals they have had for thousands of years.

Before I explain the two groups here is some tiny info you might have missed. The cursed objects that “Geto” was talking about are the remains of old sorcerers from the past. Over a thousand years he has been making pacts with them to turn them into cursed objects so they can revive someday, that day is now. “Geto’s” Cursed Objects = Sorcerers from the past. Now let me explain the two groups now that you have this info. ——————————————— 1st group of people that are being released are sorcerers from the past that he made pacts with. He turned their remains into cursed objects and fed them to people of this current era, he put them to sleep so they can become vessels for the old sorcerers when the time is right. He used Mahito’s cursed technique to enhance all the bodies he made into vessels and what he did right there with that seal is basically unsealing all those cursed objects(sorcerers of the past) so they can now take over those peoples bodies. There are a thousand of those. Now remember, usually people have no resistance to prevent cursed objects from taking over, Yuuji is the exception. He is able to resist and prevent Sukuna from taking over his ridiculously strong body, which is how he was able to suppress Sukuna. The 2nd group of people are all modern day people. They are all people capable of using cursed techniques but their brain prevents them from accessing that power because they have a normal human brain. He adjusted their brain so they can now use those hidden cursed techniques that they couldnt use before(no he did NOT GIVE them powers, they already had these and just couldnt use them because their brain wasnt compatible). He did all this by using an enhanced Mahito attack across all of Japan, adjusting their souls. That is how he enhanced the bodies of the soon to be vessels and how he modified the brains of the others so they can unlock access to their cursed techniques.

Now to explain the charges. The higher ups have always been wanting to get rid of Gojo because he is trying to change things that they have had in place for thousands of years, they dont like change. They took this chance to make him a criminal because he was supposed to kill Geto, which he did, but Geto is still out and about (the higher ups dont know that this Geto ISNT Geto so even if they didnt want to kill Gojo they would have still made this decision). The principal is charged because he was their teacher and they are just assuming he is the reason Gojo and Geto became such a pain(they think he is the one that told them to start up some shit). Principal was also a little rebellious and didnt agree with all the higher ups ideals and rules. The rest is self explanatory. They always wanted Yuuji dead. Yuuta is their most strongest and loyal sorcerer as of right now(yes Yuuta obeys the higher ups), so they are sending him out to end Yuuji.

For plot sake I think the author made sure Yuta had to arrived late, imagine if it was Yuta, Todo, and Yuji vs Mahito lmao, Yuta alone I would argue would be enough.
