Anime haven't explained it well, but this whole training and the Tag game is one big test and to pass it they need to have more points than others in the same position. They were getting points for their achievements in classes and whoever will win the Tag game will also get certain amount of points based of the examiners judgement of their actions. Some of the people have already so much more points than others, so they don't need to win the Tag game to pass (Anaak, Shibisu, Khun and Lauroe). On top of it, only few people from every position can pass. For example in Wave controller class only 2 people can pass. Because Lauroe is so far ahead in points there is only one spot to get.

I’m pretty sure "Bam" and "Yoru" both mean "night" and not light

Yeah we ended up understanding it in a later episode. Though glad people thought it wasn't explained well, we felt a little slow LMAO - Dani

You guys started this at the perfect time, season 2 just got announced for July 😂🙌🏾 Started reading this back in 2018 and once I got to Season 2 I became addicted to it, Season 1 was more like a prologue. The world-building, characters and writing is top tier. It has the vibe of Hunter x Hunter & One Piece mixed together

Also when I watched this episode I was so disappointed that they cut out a certain scene where Bam and Endorsi had a conversation alone together. It’s the reason why Endorsi said to Rachel “I hope whatever you’re seeking at the top, is worth more than him”. The Webtoon showed hints of her developing feelings for him. Anime cut all of that out though 🤷🏾‍♂️

In the anime as well as in the manga, not much information or history of secondary characters like "Ho" is revealed, but it gives hints so that each reader can imagine their story, in the story of "Ho", we can say that it is a tribe that lives inside the tower, but they are not a warrior tribe, nor are they blessed by the shinsu, which the most they aspire to is to live a normal life, but living that way makes you an easy target for other tribes. I guess the author wanted to put unfair things on purpose in his work, one of those things is the story of "Ho" and other characters that are not out yet :3
