I started watching one piece 7 years ago and I never would’ve thought it would dominate all 3 forms of media to the point I’ve seen people say One Piece is it’s own Big 3, (#1 Netflix TV Show in 86 countries, #1 Most Selling manga, #1 Best Animated Episode of the year) all within the same week. I’m genuinely amazed to see it become it’s own brand at this point.

Interesting that you ladies, particularly Sam. Found the fight choreography in the previous episodes a bit corny. I thought the fight scenes, particularly Zoro's and later Sanji's, was well crafted. I can't wait to see what they do for S2

While I'm not super familiar with OP. I do know Sanj one the top combatants of the crew. I believe fans call Luffy, Zoro and Sanji the Monster Three or Trio I believe.

The main reason long-time One Piece fans are so happy with how this show turned out is because it truly captured the feeling of the anime/manga. The whole last half of this episode is the best example I can give for why I love the series so much. One Piece isn't as popular is it is because of epic fights or edgy characters, it's the beauty of it in its most heartfelt moments, the sense of adventure, and it's incredibly detailed and expansive world that is filled with breadcrumb trail mysteries that unravel so naturally. Oh and the main characters man they are so loveable. It's almost like watching Friends but they're pirates lol If you guys check out the anime, you'll have a good time. It shows its age early on but is still full of laughs and emotion. Nami's arc in the anime is quite different and hits at least 5x harder. Overall it has a slow start compared to how it is later on, but it gets exponentially better every arc. 1000+ episodes is a big commitment, but I always say you just watch as much as you want to watch and stop when you want to stop. Don't have to complicate it any more than that. Set the goal of reaching where the LA ended in the anime and see how you feel! Loved your reactions! Am sad its over 😭

The sense of adventure in the anime is so massive that even the amount of episodes there are becomes an adventure once you get hooked to the anime. I got hooked around 10-40 episodes in which is around baratie-Arlong park arc and once I realized how much episodes I had left. I felt so much excitement to see more and my god i’ll never regret making the choice to start watching one piece

One of the beauty of one piece is the way they get you to hate certain characters and you find them so annoying to having a connection with them as shown with koby’s friend (I don’t know how to spell his name ngl😂) in the anime, the next big arc after arlong park has an example of this but 1000x better and bigger, it’s genuinely amazing.
