Tobey Maguire kinda sucks at acting, ngl. My least favorite live action Spidey. He was just so bland and boring to me (in hindsight, enjoyed his movies at the time). Andrew and Tom were wayyyyyyyyyyy better. Though I've only seen Tom's Spidey in a couple movies, haven't been keeping up with Marvel in a while. Got hit with Marvel fatigue some time ago.

If you pause a few times when Miles is scrolling through his phone on the trail (when he's struggling with his spidey powers), you'll see some very very familiar names, if you're familiar with the comics or general lore in any way. Seeing Cindy Moon's name really had me hyped lol.

I get they were trying to teach him the "hard way," but like.... the way they left him behind like that left a really bitter taste for me. I felt so hostile towards them. Slightly less towards Gwen. Still, I just hated the way they went about it. If I were Miles, I would've punched Peter. Like fuck you. I get what you were trying to do, but fuck you nonetheless.
