Im curious about something with Diablo 🤔 Is Diablo stronger than Rimuru at this current stage of the anime? But if he was then Rimuru wouldnt have been able to name him right? Unless it still works just because the race is considered superior. So even if the strongest demon doesnt have a name, the weakest human could still name that demon? 🤔 If Diablo wasnt stronger than Rimuru before then he’s definitely gotta be either equally as strong, if not stronger than Rimuru now right?

2023-08-10 03:56:20 I have no knowledge of the LN, so everything that I can say is by watching the anime, so take it with a grain of salt: naming a creature consumes magicules of the namer. In the case of Diablo, it took half of Rimuru's magicules to name Diablo, so, >at that point<, Demon Lord Rimuru was stronger than Kuro, in my point of view. After Kuro evolved into his new Diablo form, its unsafe to guess how strong he got. He could be slightly weaker than Rimuru, he could be as powerful as him, he could be more powerful than Rimuru (but I don't think so). We can only guess after he can get proper power comparisons, just based on the anime, that is.

I also know very little info from the LN, but my guess would be similar to Mikael's. I think you first have to have the needed magicules to give a name and you also have to have the "rank". Remember that Rimuru started off with a very high rank due to him getting a name from Veldora at the beginning. I'd also guess that Diablo might be stronger than Rimuru at this point, but I think Diablo seems to be infatuated with Rimuru's talent more than anything. That is just my guess though. My guess is that at the moment in the story in Rimuru's group, not counting Milim, it would be in order of strength of Veldora, Diablo, and then Rimuru.

I honestly thought itd be Diablo, Veldora, Rimuru. Id think that a primordial would be stronger than a dragon seeing as how scared that mage from falmuth was when finally coming to the conclusion that he is probably a primordial but idk hopefully we get more explanation in the anime

I'm a bit late but yes at the time that Rimuru named Diablo he was stronger than Rimuru. Though Rimuru's power grows exponentially so he surpasses Diablo pretty quickly. At that point I think Diablo and Veldora were about the same power level too. After Veldora awoke again thanks to rimuru, both Veldora and Rimuru got new skills that just made them that much stronger.

Spoilers from LN: Diablo is nowhere near as strong as Veldora. Not at this point in the series or ever. Diablo is a very skilled fighter, has a lot of power and is very very strong (being a Primordial and all) in Hell he used to be the rival to Rouge (now Guy, the first and top 2 strongest Demon Lord). But Veldora is a True Dragon, not just your normal dragon. They are essentially the deities of this verse. And of his currently alive siblings, Veldora has the most raw power. Not to mention he has an Ultimate Skill at this point and Diablo does not. Diablo is very very strong but Veldora is in a different class. That class being Catastrophe! At this point in the series, only the True Dragons, Guy and Milim are catastrophe class.

I'll just say this, no need for context really. That is NOT all that Shion's Master Chef skill does lmao I have actually always wondered if she truly knew what the skill did at this point.
