OK I’m gonna address the elephant in the room, so you guys are confused for the rest of this arc Pitou’s gender is different in different iterations of HxH. In the manga, she’s actually a boy. On the wiki, it says she doesn’t have a gender. In the anime, they clearly make her with bust and a female figure, and the data book also says she’s a female. So another words Pitou is literally whatever you want her to be. The New World review addresses this and he says the same thing.

Pitou is intended to be female in the anime as said by the character designer. He once said he never doubted Pitou being female in the manga. In the manga it's not specified but heavily hinted to be female. **I remember from a podcast**

Pokkle scene was censored. The top of his head was taken off. Pig finished him off with a butcher knife when she was done. All lifeforms can use Nen.

I think in the original Crunchyroll subs, Pitou is just referred to as Pitou. I didn't even notice until it was pointed out.

A lot of the stuff you’re confused about was explained in the Heaven Arena Arc. It’s was dense so that’s why we got the Nen exposition from Pokkle.

All living things have Nen. If you survive a nen attack it can open your pores and release your Nen, but they are not actual pores it’s more like Nen runs on it’s own “metaphysical” circulatory system, like chakra in Naruto, with its own “pores”.
