At the beginning when all the civilians' eyes turn red and are yelling to not let Deku in, his danger sense is going off consistently cause of the hostility toward him from the crowd, which is why he starts to have that sort of panic attack. They didn't show it as well as they do in the manga so thought I'd just point that out in case it wasn't obvious :)

I feel so bad for Dekus mom her baby has been out there struggling for these people till the point he's completely ragged and they were so hostile before being calmed down that must hurt to see

The heroes still aren’t being completely truthful with the civilians. Midoryia is not just a target for AFO and Shigaraki he is the primary target. Let’s say AFO and Shigaraki are the only ones who can get inside the school. They are putting the civilians in danger by having him there. And if he was a normal kid that would be more understandable. But he’s as strong as prime All Might right now, maybe stronger. And because of hero society civilians quirks are very weak, so they have no choice but to be think “if Shig gets in here we are fucked and the past few weeks have shown us that you heroes cannot stop them.” Idk I think it would have made some more sense if some of the people left. As they might rather get into a tussle with a regular villain away from Deku, than be close to the battlefield where Shigaraki will likely show.

This episode has one of my favorite Easter eggs. The man with stars attached to his head, who is talking the crowd into listening, was there when Izuku first saved Bakugo from the sludge monster at the beginning of the show. :D
