So, idk if you caught it in the flashback of those two girls, but basically they were saying that they were from very poor jujutsu families, which were treated like shit by the regular humans around them (just for being different as usual). In the flashback, it showed Geto finding them in really bad condition, and then it later cuts to him standing over the corpses of the ppl who presumably were the ones treating the girls poorly. At another point in this film, you have Gojo remembering what Geto's mentality used to be, about protecting the weak. Then you have Geto telling Yuta how he fucking hates how the weak (powerless humans) have the gall to rise up and take advantage of the strong (jujutsu sorcerers). I laid out in words what was presented in the film. Up to you to connect the dots. S2 will go into a lot more depth, but this movie did a good job of giving you a general outline of how Geto went from being best homies with Gojo to being a psychotic curse user.

That wasn’t Gojo that was talking about protecting humans as jujutsu sorcerers it was Geto. S2 comes out next year with 24 episodes and it will go into depth about why Geto’s whole mindset changed and why he hates anyone who’s not a jujutsu sorcerer.
