Tengen couldn’t take Kanoe because she’s Shinobu’s “tsukugo”which basically means a disciple your directly training to be a future hashira. And Hashira’s can’t order around another Hashira’s tsukugo. If you remember in the Mugen train movie Rengoku offers tanjiro to be his tsukugo when they first meet and looking back at it now it’s probably because Rengoku knew his little brother Senjuro would never be able to be his tsukugo

Rengoku is the family name. Kyojuro is the first name of our dearly departed Flame Hashira. The little brother is Senjuro and the father is Shinjuro

Well tanjiro said it himself that his family were purely charcoal sellers. And plus if you think about it the sun breathing was the first breathing style ever made. And the demon slayers and demons have been around for centuries, that would mean tanjiros dad would be 100s of years old which wasn’t the case. So logically that can’t be his dad

But whoever said the image they showed of the sunbreather demon slayer was the original? Your argument only makes sense if they showed the original dude who created sunbreathing and if that was the case then obviously you got the information from somewhere else and thats a spoiler. I personally don't think its his dad because Tanjiro would have noticed his dad being gone going off on missions which has never been shown. Also Tanjiros dad was super sickly and died young due to his illness so thats why I personally don't think it was him

Well based on the episode that had to be obvious that guy had to be because of the fact he was shown when referenced to sun breathing. What I don’t know is if that guys is an ancestor or uncle or something to tanjiro. I’m just going based on evidence that was shown in this episode and from season 1 episode 8

It is called the red light district or Yukaku Hen. Entertainment arc is some stupid crunchyroll translation to censor it.

Yeh, its originally called the Red Light District Arc! I think I told u guys that in the QnA. Its the canon name or the official name for it. Its called that in the manga. But some younger ppl watch Demon Slayer, (FUCK THEM KIDS) so they had to censor the arcs name smh.😂

Somebody probably already said it but on season premieres the opening is often put at the end of the 1st episode as opposed to the start. And this was technically the start of the season since the other episodes was stuff from the movie and some extra stuff.

If he really was a former Hashira, he wouldn't be there. Samurai isn't another word for Hashira. Samurai is samurai. Hashira is Hashira, or Pillar in English. He said he was a former SHINOBI, aka ninja.
