Zekes plan is to help both sides Marley and eldia, grishas plan is to take over and kill all Marley like eldians did a long time ago, pardise just wants peace

Zeke is trying to save EVERYONE in the world, not just the Eldians. To Zeke, the suffering of the Eldians is connected to their innate ability to become Titans, so by sterilizing their race until they eventually die out, he's saving the Eldians from having to live lives where they're constantly oppressed and discriminated against while also freeing everyone else in the world from having to live in fear of Titans. Obviously it's still genocide and Zeke has no right to make that decision on behalf of all Eldians, but that's the answer he arrived at given the life he lived.

Also, Tom Ksaver actually knew Grisha from a young age. He appeared twice in season 3. He called out to him after young Grisha bumped into him as he and Faye ran out of Liberio in the Season 3 Episode 19 after credits scene, and he was also shown in Season 3 Episode 20 holding Zeke along with his grandparents when Grisha mentions that he turned them in. Given that information, the amount of pain on his face when he tells Zeke to turn his parents in makes more sense.

Zeke and Grisha have very different definitions of what "saving Eldians" means. Grisha wanted to restore Eldia has the dominant power in the world likely by killing Marleyans. Zeke wants a "peaceful" genocide of Eldians.

Zeke turned his parents in to save himself yes however it was a hard decision because Zeke never truly had hatred toward them. Zeke never really fully hated his parents, he still cared for them. It was tough on ksaver too because I think Ksaver also knew grisha but wanted to save Zeke. Grisha’s plan to “save” eldia was to dominate over Marley like how Eldia did many years ago. It is a violent plan. The Jeagerists also believe they should be conquering the world and killing them. They want the rumbling to happen in order to kill and show their power to anybody who opposes them Zeke’s plan is the most peaceful. With Zeke’s plan, Eldians would get to live out their remaining life in peace. They would tell Marley about them not being able to have kids anymore and that they all will die out in about 100 years for the sins they committed then demand the one and only wish theyd like…which is peace to live off the remaining time they have left of life. There are of course much better plans that could have worked before things came down to this but the attack on Marley ruined all of that. There could have been peace without having to come to such extreme decisions. I personally think Zeke’s plan is best and the most peaceful in their current situation. Unless Marley is willing to make a peace treaty without eldians having to euthanize themselves, which I highly doubt at this point.

Shifty Fox 3 minutes ago (edited) Also want to add this to help clear up some confusion: The military reluctantly agreed to what they believe to be Zeke's plan: A test of the rumbling as a warning to the rest of the world. Then continually passing down the beast titan to someone of royal blood and the founding titan to someone else to keep the threat of the rumbling alive to ward off attackers. The Jeagerists however want Eren to actually use the rumbling (march of countless colossal titans) to stomp the rest of the world. They want to establish Eren as the leader that will bring Eldia back to glory. Only Zeke and Eren are aware of Zeke's true intentions: the "euthanasia" plan

I prefer the euthanization plan since it is more peaceful and gets rid of titans so the world stops being in constant fear. Sad but peaceful way to go

Zeke’s plan is to « help » Eldia but it works only in his mind. He chose for all his people their fate and condamn them to a life trapped on their island with no possibility to create a family and knowing they will go extinct ( and the other countries will probably kill them before they die of old age). It’s a « giving up » plan I could never accept (if I was eldian of course). It helps the rest of the world and only give a cruel gift of mercy to eldians

I understand Zeke’s state of mind and goal but it makes me SO sad and angry. I just can’t accept the idea of planning the extinction of a race of people. The right to be born is precious. No one turned into a titan in 80 years on the island (because you need a syringe) so I wish the world would just banned the spinal fluid use instead of constantly wanted to kill eldians T_T

i always thought that they sprung Ksaver on us a bit too suddenly. They could have introduced him a bit better. They didn't have to tell us right away he was Zekes mentor, just a bit of a nod to the "titan researcher" who held one of the nine. They allude to him at the end of S3 when Kruger was telling his story. I think if they did it then it would've been a cool reveal to show his connection to Zeke eventually in this episode.

Let me correct something,. Its just my theory that he was the one who got Krugers blood test to pass saying he wasnt Eldian. It would make sense too because Ksaver was, in a bit of a twisted way, an Eldian/Paradis sympathizer.

One thing we forget but the titans are not as effectif at war at they used to be. Marley almost lost against the middle east because they had anti titans weapons. Only on Paradise they have iceburst stone and Many countries want that to become stronger. So let’s not be naive : They will come to destroyed this island. They will never wait 100years

I would like to believe that before Eren's attack, things could have been handled more peacefully. BUT the hatred is so deep-rooted towards Eldians it's hard to imagine really is the best way to approach any of this. I also agree that on paper Zeke's plan is the best, but I can also see how things could go wrong, cause I think euthanizing an entire race is uuuuh intense. This show really got my head spinning ٩(× ×)۶ - Dani

That is so true too! I pretty most Eldians' wouldn't want to voluntarily become mindless titans. I guess there is the 9 titans though. If it isn's properly transferred, a random Eldian would receive the powers when they are born. I wonder is that actually has happened in the past, and this lore of show, been documented 🤔 - Dani

For real tho, what other options are there? The eldians want to talk to Marley and prove that they are peaceful. Be real, will that really work? Would Marley even stop for a second to hear them out, especially after Erens attack? I just can’t see that happening. But I also don’t want Marley to annihilate eldians. And if eldians annihilated Marley instead, the cycle will just reset to its original starting point. Tbh, I just don’t see another way out for the Eldians. At least with the euthanization plan, everyone who is currently alive will be able to live out their lives until their natural ending point. But damn it is so dark. But hey, at least they can all have sex without being worried about bringing kids into this cruel ass world lol if I were an Eldian, I would probably be on board with this plan 😂 lol ugh it’s all so tragic tho. What deep pit of despair this anime is.

As an anime-only fan, I could be totally wrong, but my understanding was that Grisha and Zeke have very different interpretations of what "saving" Eldia means. When he was still in Liberio, Grisha was very much a nationalist. His idea of saving Eldians was to restore the Eldian Empire to its former glory, and then get revenge on Marley. I can't say this with 100% certainty, but after he starting a new family on Paradis, it seemed like his nationalistic tendencies simmered down a bit. Meanwhile, Zeke wants to save Eldians by preventing them from being born.

Such a shame. Grisha and his wife were so engrossed in their movement and revolution, that they forgot to be parents. :/ Ofc they loved Zeke deep down, but their intense drive and commitment to free Eldians just absolutely consumed them.
