After they stop screaming the blonde lunges forwards and goes to punch me in the face. "HRAAAGH-"

I stop her punch with one finger. "Ugh. Jesus. What's with everyone immediately attacking me after they summon me?"

Her eyes widen at the apparent ease I stopped her attack, her eyes flash red and she tries again, but I block the second attack with roughly the same effort.

"Quit it." I growl as my eyes suddenly narrow.

Her next punch falters as I cross my arms.

"Y-Yang! Stop it! I summoned him! I think?"

I turn to the girl with red hair so dark that it looks black in all but the tips. "Correct! What can I do for you today!"

"E-Eh? What do you mean." The girl blinks.

"Oh. I'm a devil, and you have used the contract to summon me because of your desires. I am here to complete tasks for you in exchange for items of equivalent value. You can ask for literally anything... just keep in mind, the thing I will ask for in return will grow in proportion to whatever you ask for."

"Can you make cool swords?!" Ruby gasps

"Yes."

"Guns?!"

"Yes."

"Can you shoot super cool magic spells?!"

"Yes."

"What does it mean to be a devil? You said you were a devil, right? What makes you different from us? How did you teleport? Was that your devil magic? Could you teach us magic?"

I hold up a hand, halting Ruby's tirade.

"A devil is by all means typically more selfish than a normal person. You might even come to the conclusion that we are evil as we more or less abide by the seven deadly sins, each devil typically having one main sin they are truly connected to. Be it Wrath, Pride, Envy, Greed, Lust, Gluttony, or Sloth. We typically follow a 'Royal hierarchy' with 'nobility' and 'peasants', I am indeed a devil, my name is Gaius Decarabia, lord of the Decarabia and Malthus clans."

I take a deep breath and continue on. "A devil is typically stronger than humans, though aura seems to blur the lines just a bit. A normal low class devil, for instance, the lowest ranked in our society, are several times more powerful than the average 'aura wielding person' here... that's not to be confused with Huntsmen and Huntresses, of course, as there's a fair gap of skill between a crook with aura, and someone who has been legitimately trained. Next we can use magic based on imagination, yes, that was how I teleported, and finally, no. I sadly cannot teach you magic with the way the mana in the air is currently."

"What do you mean by that?" Yang asks with a raised eyebrow, referring to my last statement as she glances to the door.

"Oh. The ambient magic in the air, the magic that fuels all spellcasting, has been just... turned off... as if someone flicked a light switch... and if you are wondering if your earlier screams might have made people worried, your voices didn't make it out of the room. Don't worry about it."

"Anyways." I continue. "You people are actually pretty extraordinary. Every single one of you has somehow managed to glean SOMETHING from magic despite it being turned off."

"Aura?" Ruby whispers. "Aura is magic."

"An off brand genetic magic which is far weaker than legitimate magic, but yes... honestly your entire race shouldn't even be considered human anymore considering the mana in your very blood. Just imagine aura being several times stronger than what it is currently, imagine your semblances- should you have them- being far superior to what they are currently, that's what your entire race could achieve if the magic around us wasn't so scuffed."

"I feel we have gotten incredibly off topic." I state as I sit in the air under the power of the fifth level telekinesis spell, crossing one leg over the other. "So what can I do for you two?"

"Can you make cool magic stuff?" Ruby gasps.

"I can." I slowly nod. "I can enchant weapons, armor, and make other magic items."

Her eyes grow wide.

"BERIGHTBACK-"

The door behind me slams open as she turns into a flurry of rose petals.

"Hm..." I note as I glance over my shoulder. "Surprisingly quick."

"She is." Yang nods slowly, cautiously looking over me.

She apparently is still a little sore about me casually stopping her attempts at beating me up.

"You can do anything, right?" Yang asks slowly.

"More or less." I nod slowly.

"Can you tell me where to find my mother?"

"I... technically could... provided I am given some basic information about her. It might take a while though."

"Could you find my mother? I have a few choice words for her. Her name is Raven Branwen, she was a student at Beacon under team S-T-R-Q, she has black hair, red eyes, pale skin and wields a katana as her main weapon."

"Sure, I'll see what I can do." I nod slowly. "I'll give you a price later depending on how hard the information is to come by."

"Ruby! No semblance usage in the house!" I hear an older man shout from below.

"soooOOOORRRY DAAAD!" The girl replies, her voice growing louder as she gets closer.

A swirling vortex of rose petals enters the room and closes the door, clutching a large folded object in her arms.

"This is my weapon! Crescent Rose! I high impact sniper rifle which is also a scythe!"

I cup my chin and look down at the scythe. "Wow... that's honestly a little impressive. Even more so due to the fact that it probably weighs at least a hundred pounds and you are hefting it around with ease."

"It's uh... not too heavy!" The girl states as she lays it on her bed.

It nearly bounces off completely due to the springy material, causing the girl to place a hand on it to steady it.

My eyes scan over it briefly

Crescent Rose:
A technological marvel created by Ruby Rose as her main weapon of choice against the creatures of Grimm. It is primarily a war scythe, but it has a high impact sniper rifle within the handle.
Mecha-Shift Construction: Crescent Rose's construction grants its wielder the ability to discharge the rifle to increase the swing speed of the scythe head. When used in this manner, 75% of the ranged damage is added onto the melee damage.
Hardness: 15
Health: 30
Weight: 75 Lbs
Damage: 2d8+(Str*4)
Ranged Damage: 4d8
Crit Range: 20 x4

"So can you put magic on it?!" The girl asks with a bright grin.

"Well, first you'll need to tell me what sort of magic you want. There are perhaps millions of enchantments... but I personally suggest some form of speed enchantment just to make you really horrifying against things fighting you."

"Oooh!" The girl grins. "That sounds awesome! Can I also have something that lets me hurt grimm? Like, a lot?"

"Sure." I shrug. "Be advised that magic is quite expensive... however..."

I look over to Cresent Rose. "I know talent when I see it. I'll give you a weapon that increases your speed, deals increased damage to evil people, and even more to grimm. In exchange, you must promise to design..."

I briefly calculate roughly what this would be worth.

I hold up two fingers. "four Mecha-shift weapons roughly on par with your Crescent Rose here."

"That's it? But I like-"

Her mouth is covered by Yang. "Yes. four mecha shift weapons. Sounds fair."

"I am aware that you enjoy making designs, I mean, really, how else could you have made that? I am just being fair." I begin slowly. "But Yang is right to be cautious. Most devils would probably overcharge you. The devil race has its bad reputation of manipulation for a good reason."

"I will need to take your crescent rose for a while to complete the enchantments, however." I begin slowly. "But, I am willing to offer you a temporary weapon for you to use during the process."

A black sword appears in my hand, the hilt has a red diamond-shaped gem in the very center of the hand guard. "This is a Hrunting replica. Hrunting was an extremely powerful magic sword back home, it was broken and reforged, losing a percentage of its power, this is merely a copy, using the same method of crafting as the original copy, yet it is still quite powerful despite not having a majority of Hrunting's abilities. This increases your physical abilities by about... forty percent?"

I nod slowly. "Forty percent."

"You'll have to take her?" Ruby slowly pouts, glacing to her scythe.

"Sadly, yes... I can't do most of my enchanting in some random bedroom." I slowly nod as I gesture around the room.

"H-How long?" The girl whispers.

"If I was a normal magic smith, the enchantments I have planned would take about forty nine days."

The girl lets out a horrified gasp.

"HOWEVER." I cut in. "I am not normal. As I stated before, I am Gaius Decarabia, Heir to both the Malthus and Decarabia clans. I hold both clan traits- think superpowered semblances- and I am one of the top percent of devils currently alive. The Malthus clan trait is a forging ability. I can have your weapon back to you within sixteen hours."

The silver eyed girl lets out a long breath, sitting down on her bed as her shoulders slump in relief. "If it's just sixteen hours, alright..."

She takes the sword from my grasp and looks over it, scrutinizing over every small detail. "If it for only sixteen hours... I can use this."

"Very well." I nod slowly. "I'll get started right away."

I hold out another summoning contract. "Use this to call me back in about sixteen hours."

Crescent Rose floats into my hand as Ruby looks down at the contract and slowly nods.

"I'll see you then!" I wave as a magic circle appears below me.

"Ruby! Come sweep up your rose petals young lady!" I hear a voice from downstairs call out just as I leave.

**Linebreak**

I let out a quiet hum as I sip on a glass of cider.

Ruby's weapon was completed easily within like twenty minutes. I just needed to spend some mythic power on it.

I have now returned to Earth after collecting Ajuka, and took a nice eight-hour nap in the arms of two of my beautiful Fiancées.

Speaking of Ajuka, he is overjoyed in his research on Remnant. He has been studying the history, aura, and semblances quite intently.

He has called it a 'Significant Magical Hotspot', and with the dozens of people around with frankly broken semblances, I don't blame him...

Semblances are semblances of magic, a more apt word would be 'Inferior Replica', these people, as previously stated, have magic in their blood, each and every person seems to have their very own 'take' on magic, which manifests as a semblance. If magic WASN'T crippled in that world, you would have numerous people with powers comparable to clan traits.

Ajuka is already theorizing about ways to fix the magic in this world, and I honestly don't blame him.

So many abilities in that world would be so incredibly powerful if you just tack on a multiplier to them.

Ruby's speed semblance for instance allows her to surpass a weak high class devil's speed considerably for a couple of moments... with a body comparable to a strong low class devil's.

What happens when you take that speed and multiply it potentially several times?

It's certainly not ultimate class, but if you toss in some Knight speed, and some legitimate training, she'd have a magic ability that's comparable to a Twice Critical's balance breaker... just for speed.

And her semblance is merely one of the weaker options.

There are two characters I had mostly forgotten about that would take this increase to strength FAR better... and they are both currently in Beacon.

Coco Adel and Velvet Scarlatina.

The first, a girl who has massive amounts of aura, has a semblance which amplifies the power of dust severalfold... and what is dust?

Magic.

Coco has a genetic magic that can be used to make other magics better.

If you take away her limits, multiplying the strength of her magic to multiply the strength of magic, and she's immediately an ultimate class threat.

Maybe not an ultimate class 'fighter' as her body is about on par with a medium class devil's, but definitely an ultimate class threat with her semblance.

That's quickly reaching 'seal them in a sacred gear' levels of bullshit.

Then there's the resident bunny. Velvet.

She can copy fighting styles with a mere glance.

Show her supernatural martial arts once and suddenly she's a grand master.

The only downsides are that she can't copy fighting styles if they rely on semblances or other traits, such as a tail.

We haven't even taken a look at the Schnee family, however.

The sheer versatility of that power... and if you multiply it?

It can ALREADY manipulate time! What more can you give it?!

Honestly... I am considering giving Weiss a place on my peerage. Same with Coco and Velvet.

But, I mean, I sort of want to keep spaces open.

I don't think I should continue to hoard powers... I should focus on the ones I've got for now.

Let's see here... Valerie is acceptable, Virgo is acceptable, Tyra is also acceptable if a little feral, Artoria is perhaps the strongest in the group so she is acceptable, that leaves the others...

Le fay could be stronger, as could Meredith. They are both at around a strong medium class devil's strength... not counting Meredith's sacred gear, of course.

They could use a little work...

Ravel needs a lot of work.

She has the Phenex immortality, sure, and has a little fire power- that she doesn't use very often- but she's... honestly a little disappointing...

I need to get her out of that spectator mindset and turn her into a power house so she isn't ever targeted in an attempt to get to me.

Finally Mittelt...

Mittelt, Mittelt, Mittelt.

She might be on the cusp of her second set of wings, but frankly she needs the largest amount of work in my entire peerage.

Ah right... I reincarnated Neo as well.

She needs about as much work as Mittelt does.

Plus, there's Irina and Xenovia, both of whom I have been steadily pushing towards my peerage since they got here.

They'll both be accepted as pawns as soon as they ask to join me.

But as of right now? Both- or at the very least Xenovia is stronger than Mittelt.

I saw her use Touki against Kokabiel, and that surprisingly made her a match for the cadre with Excalibur Rapidly.

Well, 'match' is a strong word. He was toying with her, but he was definitely exerting himself a lot more against her than he did in the original series.

Ugh. There's a lot I need to do, actually.

Prepare Remnant some more, buy a train, build some golems, see about fixing those excalibur rings, try to purify Arondight, attend the faction meeting, figure out a way to scam the remaining Vitra gears from Azazel-

"…"

I stand slowly.

That's certainly an interesting way to solve one problem.

Alright. Sounds good.

What is she doing right now, anyways?

Pawn 3: Mittelt:
Gaius... why is HIS face everything she sees when she tries to masturbate?! It doesn't help that she heard Ravel and the little fairy gossiping about their fun night with him. UGH! She's not jealous! He'll never let her live this down if he ever finds out... come on Mittelt, you can do this, just ignore your fit, hot, funny boss with enjoyable banter, and musical talent, who actually cares about you and... you like having around- oh... oh fuck... did she... fall for him?! Ugh this is the worst. Wait- he makes passing comments about her browser history all the time- d-does he know?! O-oh fuck! He totally saw her search 'Clan heir pins down servant and has his way with her!' Didn't he?! Oh shit! Oh fuck! Nonono.

I have been walking with purpose once I saw the first M word in her current mood, an impish grin is on my face.

I pause in front of a door with a smirk, raising my hand up to the door, knuckles primed about an inch from the wood.

*Knock-Knock-Knock*

"Mittelt?" I call out as I watch her mood immediately erase itself and change.

Pawn 3: Mittelt:
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH F-FUCK! M-maybe he'll go away if she doesn't say anything?! H-hopefully? Maybe? PLEASE?!

"Mittelt I really need to talk to you about something vaguely important." I try again.

"Y-Yeah? I'm changing right now so c-could it wait maybe?" The girl on the other side of the door weakly replies.

"I sort of would like to get this over with as soon as possible." I sigh. "How do you feel about having a sacred gear?"

"…"

"What?" She questions

"A sacred gear, I've had one collecting dust for a while and I sort of just want to stick it in you." I explain blandly.

"H-HUH?!" The girl shrieks.

"Oh, sorry. Phrasing. That last part sounded really lewd." I sigh dramatically. "Can I come in?"

"Y-Yeah... I-I'm covering myself now."

I twist the handle and open the door.

"Hn? Changing without locking the door? You're just asking for someone to walk in." I note with a bored expression. "Annnnd you aren't even clothed. I gave you like... a good sixty seconds. Why didn't you put on a shirt and pants?"

From how flustered the blonde twin-tailed girl is, it would probably be better to compare her to a tomato than a girl.

"I-I- m-my bad." She whispers.

I take a seat beside her bed. "Ugh, jeez. You're this red from a simple slip of the tongue? Wow. You really are such a virgin."

"S-SHUT UP!" The girl growls.

"It wasn't even that bad." I scoff. "Who knew that your mind was this deep in the gutter? Honestly, a normal person probably wouldn't have even blinked at the phrase... unless they were having lewd thoughts beforehand at least."

"N-NO!"

"My my, so defensive." I snort with a smug grin. "But those pesky throughts aren't why I am here. Like I said on the other side of the door, I want to give you a sacred gear."

"Really?" She whispers under her breath looking down at the bed. "Me? Why not Ravel... or Le Fay... or Artoria?"

"Because I feel like you could draw out the full potential of this sacred gear." I answer calmly as a gauntlet that looks like a small gecko appears in my hand. "This is one of Vitra's sacred Gears, Absorption Line. I'd like to give it to you... do you accept?"

"I-I..."

She frowns suddenly but slowly nods. "Alright, I'll take it."

"Oh good." I smile as I slowly reach the hand holding the gear towards her chest.

The gear glows as it makes contact with her blanketed form, it slowly sinks below the skin as I shove it into her.

My hand rests on her chest after it fully disappears.

"Do you feel alright?" I mutter with a concerned frown.

Her blush intensifies as she looks down at my hand. "Y-Yeah, I'm fine."

I pull my hand back and let out a low hum. "Ah, I see. That's good. Any discomfort?"

"Nope." She weakly states.

"Alright, I'll let you get back to masturbating." I shrug as I get up off the bed.

"W-Wh- I-I I- d-d-"

"Shush. I'm not stupid." I give the girl a half-lidded stare. "Why would you take off all of your clothes to change?"

"I... just got out of the shower?" She weakly lies.

"Your hair is dry." I flatly deadpan.

"Did I say shower I-I meant bath... in which I kept my hair up as I didn't want to really deal with combing it right now." The girl tries again.

"Why are you so defensive." I mutter while rolling my eyes as I cup my chin. "it's something everyone has done at one point. I'm not judging you for it. But... that doesn't exactly explain why you are so embarrassed right now. I mean, I get a little, but you looked as if I walked in here naked, proclaiming my desire to bend you over a table and go to town-"

"…" I fall silent, my eyes locking with hers as she desperately tries to break eye contact, she has returned to the cherry red she originally had when I opened the door.

"You were imagining me doing exactly those things, weren't you?" I accuse blandly

"…" she doesn't say anything for a few seconds.

Her hands shake slightly are she stares lifelessly down at her lap.

"Eh, I don't really mind." I shrug as I slowly stand. "If thinking of me gets you off, by all means, do it. But hurry up and satisfy yourself and come to my office, I'd like to do a little training with you as we haven't been able to do any in a while."

"Y-You don't mind?!"

"Mittelt. Yesterday I had like four people ask for my children. One of them being Serafall Leviathan herself." I snort at the girl. "Y'know, the girl who's such a sis-con that ninety nine percent of the underworld thinks she's a lesbian? You being sexually attracted to me is just another Tuesday."

I make my way to the door, glancing back with a smirk. "But hey, if you ever feel like this again, just ask me. Really. None of this 'will they-won't they' bullshit. If you think you have feelings for me. Act on them and I'll reciprocate. But I want you to ask for it. If you don't, we'll just continue as normal, however if you want something more, you'll need to gather up the courage and act on it."

I step out and close the door behind me.

**Linebreak**

Three light spears crash into a mound of earth roughly shaped like a human being.

Instead of being exploded like a packed dirt statue should have when struck by weaponized LIGHT, it simply gains three small holes, about an inch deep and wide. One in the head, and two in the torso.

Energy seems to be slowly leaving the magically enhanced dummy, magic power wafts from the three holes

The twin-tailed blonde lets out a long tired pant as she slowly lowers from the sky, landing right beside me.

Four wings are on her back, two black feathered ones, and two bat like ones.

"Well. Your power certainly increased quite a bit. Last time you didn't even manage to scratch it." I note with a low hum.

"Y-Yeah..." She nods slowly as she looks to her hand. "Absorption line seems to have pushed me over the edge to two sets."

Instead of the normal Absorption line which is a bracer at the wrist and back of the hand with a little black gecko on it that shoots out lines like a tongue from the lizard's mouth, Her's is just a black fingerless glove with golden rings around all of her fingers, a diamond shaped crystal on the back of the hand glows dimly as the strings connected to the three holes the light spears left dissipate into motes of light.

She apparently got a subspecies when I put it in her.

Her subspecies seems to give her a bunch of threads to sneakily drain power and the ability to cause people to 'hemorrhage' energy when struck by her light spears.

Anything struck will steadily bleed out magical power into the air around them- if Mittelt isn't actively draining it of course. If she is that power flows into her.

I'm vaguely concerned because there doesn't seem to be a way to... stop it?

Maybe it's a 'timed' sort of thing where they will bleed energy for a minute or two after the damage has been done... or maybe they just bleed until their empty. In which case... that's horrifying. You could easily neuter a god's magic by poking them once and stalling.

I'd personally bet on a duration, however.

"You still feeling okay?" I question suddenly with a frown.

"Yeah, just a little tired." The blonde fallen replies as her shoulders slump.

"Oh, good. That means I didn't mess up." I nod slowly.

"I still don't get why you'd give me something like this." Mittelt sighs.

"There's a couple reasons, actually." I nod slowly with a frown. "Firstly I noticed how you were feeling useless compared to the rest of the peerage... so I thought that I'd give something to you to make you special."

A dusting of pink appears on the girl's cheeks.

"Secondly, I legitimately care about you, and this will help keep you safe."

Her blush intensifies.

"Thirdly... I am reaching that stage of importance and strength that... if people want to get to me... they'll target those close to me... I can't have any of my peerage be weak. That's why I am going to start seriously training you from now on..."

Her bashful blush and giddy smile is erased, turning into a small frown. "Oh... I see... it's because I'm weaker than the others."

"I never said that you would be the only one being put through the ringer." I point out idly. "Ravel is more of a spectator and strategist in combat, I really need to change that. I need her to be able to take care of herself as the second in command of the peerage, but... currently she's a bit of a liability in a serious battle... then there's Le Fay and Meredith... Both with great potential, but they are about at medium class Devil in strength. I need to help them reach that potential."

I turn to the fallen. "The rest of my peerage are pretty much exclusively ultimate class. Valerie cheats by drinking my blood and has been slowly enhancing her body with her sacred gear over the past like... half a year or two, making her bones and muscles denser and increasing her regeneration, Virgo was always strong, as was Tyra. Artoria started out fairly weak, sure, but she picked up Pendragon Swordsmanship in a month, and has abused the hell out of her rook strength, and since she got Caledfwlch her strength ballooned because any holy object in her grasp seems to be far stronger than it would ordinarily be."

"Oh..." The girl whispers before falling into silence.

We stare out over the training field for a moment before she breaks the silence.

"So... uh... you said that four people wanted you to impregnate them?" Mittelt mutters with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh? Are we talking about that? I didn't think we would, considering we would be acknowledging you touching yourself while imagining my glistening abs and rock hard cock." I smirk down at the girl.

"S-Shut up!" She replies without a lot of heat to her voice.

"Eh, four was a bit of an over exaggeration, like I said, Serafall was one, she's going to become my fiancee soon, then there was Vivianne who wants to make 'the next generation's greatest sword smith' then the blue haired exorcist claimed that she wanted my babies as well."

"Woah woah woah, the EXORCIST?!" The girl exclaims with wide eyes. "Really?! No... you're just fucking with me, aren't you!?"

*Pfft-* I snort. "Oh, I really wish I was! She proclaimed to one of her bosses that came to reclaim the Excaliburs that she was planning on getting knocked up. Thank goodness that she didn't mention she was trying to get me to do it."

"Oh my gods..." The girl mutters slowly, genuinely surprised. "What is your life?! You're telling me that a church PRUDE, someone who probably never even KISSED another person-"

"You're talking a lot of shit from that Glass House of yours, Mittelt." I cut in.

"Shush-" She snappily replies before continuing "-In her life, and has been taught to avoid the 'sinful activities of the devil', tracked you down in the hallways of your mansion, and proclaimed without any shame that she wanted you to 'pin her against a wall and shoot your creamy love juices right into her womb'?!"

"'Creamy love juices?" I quote with a raised eyebrow. "Seriously? Is that what your twisted mind thinks whenever you touch yourself? Day dreaming of the possibility of those 'Love Juices' entering your womb?"

"NO!" The girl responds with a displeased growl. "I was just saying, that it's wild an exorcist even knows how babies are made. That is all."

"I mean, yeah. I guess." I slowly nod as I check my watch. "Hmm... oh, Sorry Mittelt, it looks like I'm going to have to leave soon."

"Already?" The girl whispers.

"What? Are you enjoying having some alone time, with me?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

"I guess." The girl mutters as she scratches the back of her head. "You're pretty much the only friend I have in the peerage besides maybe Meredith... everyone else is just so... stiff."

"Take your jabs as legitimate insults and don't know how to throw any Non hurtful ones back?" I question.

The girl slowly nods.

"Well, things are a bit busy right now... soon enough it'll calm down and maybe we could hang out, work on this sexual tension between us, but for now I just need to jump around a bunch. I'll show you and the rest of the peerage something really cool soon, though."

"Alright." The four-winged fallen sighs.

**Linebreak**

I appear in a bedroom with a small flash.

"Yo." I wave to the two girls before me.

"Is it done?!" The silver eyed girl asks.

"It is." I nod slowly.

A rip in reality forms beside me as I grab a large rectangular piece of metal. "Here it is."

Instead of pajamas they wore yesterday, Yang is wearing her classic volume one outfit, brown combat boots with knee high yellow socks, black short shorts, a brown jacket and a yellow undershirt that leaves her stomach exposed.

Ruby also wears her classic volume one outfit, a red and black gothic dress with a frilly skirt, combat boots with stockings, tiny crosses pinning her cloak to her shoulders.

That was another thing Ajuka discovered. The cross is a symbol that exists here. Strangely enough, it holds no power over us in this world, thus Ajuka and I have theorized that the reason Devils are hurt by the word 'God' and crosses is due to Heaven's system.

Here it's merely a symbol carried over from ancient times. I mean, really, it's just two lines, ancient people probably made use of the simplicity.

The girl in red grins brightly and unfolds the weapon, her smile falters for a second. "I thought magic would look... cooler?"

+1 Crescent Rose:
A technological marvel created by Ruby Rose as her main weapon of choice against the creatures of Grimm. It is primarily a war scythe, but it has a high impact sniper rifle within the handle, it has been enchanted by the devil known as Gaius Decarabia, creating a horrifying weapon of grimm destruction.
Mecha-Shift Construction: Crescent Rose's construction grants its wielder the ability to discharge the rifle to increase the swing speed of the scythe head. When used in this manner, 75% of the ranged damage is added onto the melee damage.
Improved Holy: Deals 2d6 damage to creatures with Evil alignments and a further 2d6 to evil 'outsiders' (+2)
Improved Grimm Bane: Deals 4d6 additional damage to the creatures of Grimm, additionally, the weapon is treated as if its enchantment bonus is 4 higher than normal when attacking a Grimm. (+2)
Rapidly-esque: The wielder of this weapon is supernaturally quick, gaining a +90 feet to their movement speed, and can make 3 additional attacks as part of a full attack. (+5)
Hardness: 35
Health: 130
Weight: 75 Lbs
Damage: 2d8+1+(Str*4)(+2d6) (+2d6) (+4d6+4)
Ranged Damage: 4d8+1 (+2d6) (+2d6) (+4d6+4)
Crit Range: 20 x4

"Oh, the enchantment is turned off right now." I wave off as I point to the haft of the scythe. "You'll notice the rubber bands I put around where you'd hold it. That's where you can turn it off and on... inject a small- and I'm talking really small- portion of your aura into it. That should turn the enchantment on... then you can do the same to turn it back off."

The girl looks to the rubber bands and places her hands atop them.

Numerous glowing runes flicker around the sides of the blade before fading.

"A little bit more." I state with a bored frown as I spy the form of the Hrunting replica sitting on a nearby table.

The runes appear, this time glowing brightly. They don't disappear this time and float about a centimeter off the blade.

The blade of the scythe seems to glint and shine, it produces a dim golden light.

"Woooooah." The girl gasps, stars in her eyes.

I take back the Hrunting Reproduction.

"I'll warn you to be careful with that. There are still a few people in this twisted world that can actually use magic. If they sense that- which they'd have to be pretty close to, within twenty feet at least- they might try to take it away from you. That's why I gave it the ability to turn off and on its enchantment."

"oooooh." The girl gasps, seemingly not even slightly hearing what I said.

I turn to Yang. "You got that?"

"Turn it off out of combat or people who can use magic can sense it and will try to take it away. Yep. I got it." The blond nods.

"And, since she isn't listening to me, I should also tell you to tell her to be careful. She could really hurt herself with her new speed, so tell her to take it easy until she gets used to it."

The girl gives a thumbs up.

"ooooh... and before I forget. Your mother is a bandit leader in Mistral. Leads this gang of bandits called the 'Branwen Tribe', nobody really knows exactly where they are, as they travel around Mistral, moving camp every couple of months or so, but those people are truly the scum of this planet. Destroying villages, killing, kidnapping, and pillaging to their hearts content, bringing untold negativity and grimm wherever they go. If you are going to go look for your mother, I'd suggest waiting at the very least until you are a little older, become a full-fledged huntress. I've heard that your mother is absolutely horrifying in a fight for someone unprepared."

I see the girl's fists clench. "Are you saying that I can't take her?!"

Yangs growl seems to snap Ruby out of her weapon-lust daze. "Huh? What's going on?"

"Could you beat Vale's greatest huntsmen, your uncle, in a serious fight?"

"…" the girl bites her lip and glares at the floor.

"That is why you should wait until you can." I frown. "She was on a team with him, so reasonably shouldn't she also be as strong as him, if not stronger?"

"Who?" Ruby blinks.

"Oh, don't worry about it. Just something Yang here wanted to know about." I wave off.

"How much do I owe you?" Yang grits out.

"Oh, don't worry, I've put it on Ruby's tab. Enchanting her weapon was worth somewhere around three point eight designs, and considering your age I didn't think you'd have hundreds of thousands of Lein laying around, so I just decided to round up and give you a little change."

I turn to Ruby. "Which means that you can summon me and get me to do things for you for basically free now as long as you don't ask me for a lot of ridiculous things."

"Really?!" The girl gasps. "That's AWESOME!"

"I'm glad you think so." I slowly nod as I cross my arms. "Anyways, I need to go see my most recent peerage member and teach her magic."

"Peerage?" Yang mutters.

"Wait! I thought you said you couldn't teach us magic!" Ruby exclaims

"a peerage, is something that allows devils to reincarnate other races into devils." I answer Yang.

"Yes. I can't teach you magic. Human magic is scuffed because of the magic in the air being tainted. Devil magic is generated inside of a devil and doesn't require you to absorb excess mana from the air."

I let out a low hum as I ponder something audibly "I wonder if being a devil increased the power of her Aura and Semblance..."

I summon another contract paper. "Ah, yes. Anyways. Here's another summoning flier. I'll see the two of you later."

"Byeeee!" Ruby waves after taking the slip of paper.

Yang simply nods, an annoyed frown on her face.

Not at me, of course, but at the information I gave her.

With that I teleport away.
