Calico Jack is the one reputed to have designed the Jolly Roger (skull and crossed bones) flag. There is some debate though. All three of these characters where in Black Sails, which is really not a bad show.

At an hour 10 mins, when Benji does the amazing callback to sees seize seven seas, Dave's face as he tries to keep going without laughing is amazing. Just brings me pure, unadulterated joy.

One of the best episodes... and I think we've found an accent that Dave excels at - his pirate is very The Simpsons Sea Captain, stays consistent and relatable. Loved it!

I’m so happy you guys did this story! Historical fact/ explanation: they dueled with pistols and swords because pistols were a one shot deal at the time so they reverted to swords after the shots failed.
