I can relate to this crab. As I told Gareth once after a show, playing a mascot/costumed character, especially when you just have to mime and can’t speak, is one of the weirdest experiences ever. I’m in an inflatable Nickelodeon costume at a kids event, I got a kid behind me using all his energy to try and pop the costume with his fists, and a group of kids around me debating what life form was inside the costume. It was decided I wasn’t human. At one point I got overconfident and tried to dance but your vision is so small and the costume so big to maneuver, I tripped over a baby stroller while trying to moonwalk.
