Hello! I'm sorry it took me so long to make this next Devlog. Sometimes I don't have that much stuff to show so it's not worth to make a new one.

Portal to the Town.
At some point in story, Eve Lockhart will develop a device capable of opening a portal into the city. Based on The Ancients technology. This device will allow you to return to the city quickly, and be able to return to where you were without having to walk.

Since Eve just plays around with this technology, this portal is quite unstable, and seems kinda dangerous, don't worry, it won't kill you, I think. Here's a video for the portal sound.

New Camera movement.
I remade some of the camera coding (again) and now it goes smoothly to a certain point, making cutscenes look way better!

Meat mechanics.
When you kill some monsters, you get meat, and if you don't want to waste potions, you can just wait next to a campfire, and Zoria will sit down and cook the meat, then eat it!
-Each meat has 4 charges until consumed.
-Meat only needs to be cooked everytime a new one is used.
-Meat will heal more depending of your level.

New Grass.
Not much to say about this, just remade the grass, I feel like the old one didn't have that much of a texture.

New Bandit AI.
Bandits are not monsters, they're humans/elves/orcs. They can think, well, more or less. So it makes sense they'll be able to follow you around and say stuff about your firm booty.

Not necessary, but I made small differences between the races, in how much they can jump, how strong they are, etc.

A cutscene in progress.
You know, every good rpg has to start with you waking up, and has to have a fishing minigame.

This cutscene will also show us a version of Zoria after waking up.

I don't know about you, but I'd be looking up for bed time. ALL DAY.

Chocolo.
This cutscene will introduce us to Zoria's best friend and adventure partner, Chocolo, originally named Robert Marley (No relation with Bob Marley).
-'Chocolo' is a nickname that Zoria gave Robert when they were children. (Chocolate, maybe it's a bit racist? But Zoria is called Green so idk.)

Darker Darkness.
I added a blue-ish tint to the darkness for a more natural look.

Template NPC animations.
This a big step, it's time consuming, but it's for a good thing, I'm working on template animations for NPCs, Idle, Walk, Run, Jump, Atk, etc.
So I can draw over them for new NPCs in a future, saving a lot of time.

This helped me improve Zoria's Run sprite a bit, making her hips turn around while running.
Never stop improving!
