Hey everyone, been a while. I want to talk to you about this new stuff I'm working on.

Quests: I plan to add a lot of NPCs to the game, each one with their own story, fears, ambitions and needs. I found out that everytime I make a new NPC, I end up working too much on it, so I decided that all NPCs would have a name, portrait and some dialogues. I prefer to have less NPCs and be important ones, than having many NPCs that are just called "Man" or "Woman".
That said, not all NPCs will have quests. Some will have only one, and some other will have more.

How does it work? -I don't plan to add Quest Journal menu. Since my coding skills are really poor in terms of Menus. I'll just have NPCs talk about what they need from you, and wait for you to get that to them.

This videos shows an early prototype of quests. (I'm open to suggestions.)

I want the world to 'evolve' as you progress the story line. So, some quest may disappear once you progress story to a certain point. (Maybe because that NPC is not longer in that place, etc)
Some quests will be more complex than others.

Q: "But what if I stop playing for a while and come back? How am I going to remember what I
was doing?"
A: I get that it can be annoying, but I like it that way, to have to talk with NPCs for information about what's going on.

More information will be added once I work more into this.

Collectables: Who doesn't love explore around to pick some collectables?

I'm not sure how many kind of collectables I'll end up adding. But I'm sure right now about this.

Concept art.
Having to collect 10 lost pages in order to retrieve a book in the Fortress' Library.
Of course there will be an ingame reward by doing so. (Maybe a perfect ending? c:)
But as long as it keeps the players interested in exploring around I'm happy with it.
