#39 - Village E5 (Final Preview) (Patreon)

Greetings Heroes!

I am excited to finally share the Village E5 preview! The set is now available via Google Drive. The link is in the August download post.

It's been a weird month, full of unexpected changes to my work (day job) schedule; I fell in love with someone; I believe there were at least two back-to-back weddings that some members of the team were involved in; several heat waves; and at least two extended periods of internet outage. I stumbled across a quote today that describes this pretty well, "I do not do things because I think they are easy. I do them because I thought they would be easy."

The village set was chock full of unexpected geometric challenges, but I believe the end result is pretty cool! A few tile requests made it into this set including a piece capable of making the Yawning Portal, a double door entrance, and a second-story stairway entrance.

There were a lot of pieces that didn't make it into Village E5, but will definitely make it into Village E6. Once Village E6 is complete, the stage will be set for rooftop and village ruins. I cannot wait!

Stay tuned as the team and I continue to get caught up and back on schedule. Up next is the woodland's set #41 - Treacherous Paths, with sets #42 and #43 hot on its heals.
