I just released an update for the Drone mod.

Changes:

  • Nuka Drones can now be crafted at the workshop after you cleared all 5 parks
  • Follower drones now wait outside and won't follow you indoors anymore.
  • Workshop drones, that got destroyed, will be ported to their marker when you enter workshop mode. This prevents them from going down and staying outside your build area, rendering them impossible to repair.

You can just install them over your current installation. The follower drone changes might only take effect for newly deployed drones. On PC, you can manually reset their AI using the console command 'resetai' to force the update onto them. On XB1 you cannot do. The game might or might not re-evaluate the AI package on its own.

But it should definitely work for newly deployed drones.

Just a question. Do you use PANPC (pack attack)? I had another report of that issue. And it could be an issues caused by another mod. Because I have lots of people that have zero issues. Now comes the hard part of tracking down what causes it.

No I do not use PANPC, only one mod I'm using and can think of is NPCs Travel. But NPCs Travel spawns its own unique NPCs shouldn't affect other mods or vanilla NPCs, never have this problem before. I'm also not using any mod that alters difficulty of vanilla NPCs or game. Before this incident I've ran into two lone and a group of three 'wild' non-faction associated hostile drones no problem though, they are kill-able like the Gunners drones. Since then I haven't able to replicate this encounter of 'wild' invincible drone, drones encounter are not very common LoL. Thank you for taking the time to look into this, I'll just continue to observe.
