Release: Seeker Mines (Patreon)
Content
This mod adds 3 differnet Seeker Mines to the game. They're inspired by the Seeker Mine skill your agent has in The Division.
They behave similarly. You can either drop them using a drop item, or throw them like a grenade. They will then follow you when out of combat, or attack enemies automatically when in combat.
Seekers can be picked up again (except the cluster childs).
The seekers have only a little bit of HP, but they're hard to hit and very fast. Most enemies won't hit them when the seekers are after them (except enemies with AoE attacks, like Behemoths).
Requirements
- Fallout 4
How To Acquire
You can craft the Seeker Mines and the deploy items at the chemistry station under "Seeker Mine".
The mines have high perk and material requirements to balance them as they're pretty much a free kill against humanoid enemies (depending on your game's damage scaling and difficulty).
Variants
There are 3 different variants: Regular, Cluster, Airburst. They all have different attack patterns.
- The regular one simply chases an enemy and explodes when close enough.
- The cluster splits up into multiple smaller seekers, which will then all attack their own targets. The damage of the smaller seekers is lower than a regular seeker.
- The Airburst will jump high up in the air, and then throw out a few incendiary bombs that will set the place on fire.
Damage
The Seekers do not scale with any perks, they have a flat damage.
- Regular: 600 Damage
- Cluster: 350 Damage per Child with smaller explosion radius (Cluster spawns 5 childs)
- Airburst: 200 Damage per Incendiary + Fire damage over time when igniting enemies. (Airburst spawns 5 incendiary bombs).
Notes
- Requires game version 1.10.162 or later.
