At least Clem will have nothing to worry about in terms of it all happening again with Jonty, his heart is too golden and kind too harm others (outside of self defense that is).

I really do hope we see Lex again in the next comic. Jonty needs to know what happened, and if a certain conversation mid chapter 2 is anything to go by, it can be pretty important to do so. He needs to know.

I have doubts if things would have been any different had Jonty been in Lex's shoes. Lex was a Demon/Vampire hybrid, and Lex was made a hybrid, not born one. I think such a conversion process is risky if I remember a lore page correctly, and it may have went wrong for Lex altering his mind and personality for the worst.
