It's been brought to our attention that the Picture-in-Picture button that was previously available on desktop might have been removed by Patreon. One of our patrons discovered that if you right-click on the video, you can select PiP mode that way. It should still be available from the player on the mobile app though.

Sorry for the confusion. We'll see if we can get Patreon engineering to restore the button back on the player.

That’s cool to know because I didn’t even know the option existed

Earl Grey

thanks for the tip!

There is a "button" that pops up in the top middle of the video player that allows you to pop out the video. It's just not clearly labeled.

Weirwood

Maybe. I use Edge.

Infinite Ree

I think this is correct. It's gone missing on my chrome before, so I had to switch to Firefox to get the option back

Prime Time

yeah I was lost a few days ago trying to watch an xmen episode. I believe Chrome and Safari let you right click to go into PIP, not sure about the others

Crowned Cryptid

Oh I didn’t even know Patreon could do that! The FireFox browser has a built in picture in picture, maybe that will work here for some people. 😄

Chris Williamson

Never knew this was a thing. Total game changer for when I'm watching along with you guys.

Lina Robins

Omg I never knew about this. I often don’t watch uncuts, not because I don’t want to but sometimes it’s a hassle setting up two devices but hopefully I can find a way to make PIP work for me! Thanks for the info yall 🙏🏽

It's not an option on Chrome, but it is on Firefox. Also, it can be quite hard to sync your uncut reactions, when there's only footage in the first few seconds. Have you thought about maybe adding sound throughout the reactions, or maybe just having the footage pop up a few times throughout?

I see the Picture-In-Picture mode button in the Vivaldi browser.

I'm on Firefox and it's working okay for me!
