What's up, homies! Happy Monday and welcome back to another fun week of reactions. It's time to jump back into the world of Superman & Lois and see what new things we learn about what our titular heroes are up against.

Tomorrow is The Boys day and on Wednesday Hector returns for Andor. If all goes as planned, maybe Daredevil will appear in this week's penultimate episode of She-Hulk, and we're very excited to see where things pick back up with this week's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

Friendly reminder that we dropped our uncut reaction for John Carpenter's Halloween and will continue this weekend with a double feature of Halloween and Halloween Kills, leading right into the final act on October 14 with Halloween Ends.

Also stay tuned for reactions for Werewolf by Night, Hellraiser and much, much more.

Noticed the timer on this one was running fast

The thing about Lois and Lucy, its that Lucy and Lois are both right. Lois saw her sister in mortal danger, a fair reaction. But Lucy was also right. And she is pissed because her sister who reports on Superman, wouldn't even try and research (which Lois is great at) her story and even try and believe her (even if how she went about it was batshit crazy). And while she wouldn't have any knowledge of alternate worlds at that point. That's no longer true and she still hasn't thought perhaps Lucy was wrong with what she did, and Ally is someone doing wrong and harm, but lets check to see if what she is saying is actually truthful. With Kyle, he wasn't initially on paper latino. So many first season episodes (the early) ones were written without a specific background. Once the actor who is, was cast they decided to touch upon it. And the actor really encouraged it, in fact much of the material of at least the first season is based on his notes to them about his own life and experience. Not heard any interviews if that is still the case with the 2nd season.

Season 2 is definitely a more complicated story, but I have already seen the entire season and it all comes together in a great way. With Hector mentioning Eclipso, I definitely recommend you watch Stargirl which is in it's third season currently. Lots of fun characters and I think a great show to react to in addition to what you have reacted to in the DC Universe. Don't know if you have time with all the other shows you already do, but it will take quite some time before you can watch Superman&Lois S3 since that will start around February next year like the last season of The Flash.

I didn't feel, when I watched it, that they were trying to sell you that Lois was wrong, 'cause I thought everything she assumed was logical, but that Lois maybe didn't do her due diligence in looking completely into Lucy's "crazy" story. ONLY because turns out there was some truth to the crazy story. It's understandable that she wouldn't, but being a comic book show, it's like, "Just so happens that THIS time, the crazy story IS actually happening." But, it's still a cult and that still has it's problems because whether there is some legitimacy in some of the facts, the cult leader is the problem with the cult. I felt that Allie was leading people into something that she may have believed was true, but I never believed that what she thought (was saying) was happening is what is ACTUALLY happening. It's her and maybe her family's INTERPRETATION of something that they fully didn't understand and also, she putting her family at the center of it in a narcissistic way (saying they were "chosen") is reason enough to doubt the validity of it. My point being that I never got the impression that the show was trying to put Lois' side and Lucy's side on the same level of legitimacy. This show is definitely much more nuanced than most shows in the genre. I love it.
