The fight with Vader and Reva was really good. It was nice to see a force user actually use the force and not just act like a swordsmen. Vader was so much more focused, calm, and collected which is terrifying.

I'm interested to see what the emotional state of Obi-Wan will be in if/when he does get in contact with Qui-Gon, that feels like a conversation that would be terrible to have with 10+ years of guilt isolation and no therapists.

Guys, this time it felt a bit that your hearts weren't 100% into it. This ep was so rich and subtle in so many ways, that I would like to make you to rewatch/re-react to it. I don't think you captured the full scope of it. Although, Agustin is still at the heart and essence of it, love you man. I'm so impressed how the writers managed to fill the gap with interesting storylines and twists, I mean and Reva, just wonderful. I have no idea what will happen in the finale, but I'm pretty sure it will be a setup for season 2, so much more to tell. And yes, Hector, NRA is bad, very very bad, I'm 100% with you, but it was distracting in that reaction.

Kind of a strange comment, but, not everyone experiences story the same way. That’s why people have differing options on movies. Your comments reads like, “you didn’t experience the story the way I did, or weren’t moved by it the way I was, therefore your heart wasn’t in it.”

Robert von Heeren

Well, that's correct, I respect your opinion, but it felt that too many sideline comments were distracting from the actual story, although, don't mind, I still love your reaction, it struck me differently and there were many nuances I thought you were missing, that's all.

heroesreforged

Sure. We also don’t spend an hour talking about the shows in the post discussion so there will never really be a nuanced conversation that you are looking for. Especially not at 1 am 😴

This episode brought it! By how it is shown it looks like Vader stabs Reva as a youngling. I am interested how she survived then more than how she most definitely will survive now. I think reva is going to tatooine as she met Owen and knew he was hiding something. Now she knows it’s Vader’s kid. Kenobi is probably going to leave the group to divert Vader away from the refugees.

Also you can tell the flashbacks are pre episode 2 as Anakin has 2 hands

Oh, man! Hector should've said "I'm going to be the raptor right in front of him... I need you to be the Clever Girl right off to the side." Still, loving these reactions!

I was thinking that Reva was coming off as 1 dimensional as of the first episode, but I am starting to think that just showed that it was all part of the act that I kind of called towards the end of episode 2 and really felt was the case by episode 3 that she was just trying to maneuver herself to get closer to Vader. I sure hope Reva makes it through this series and can pop up elsewhere so Moses can continue this journey with her.

Interesting, there was no warning in Australia and without the warning it messed up the timing of the video syncs by a couple of seconds. Regardless, loved the episode, the fight with Reva and Vader was so cool. Also love seeing Adam's reactions, they're fun!.

That I fully understand, that's very late. More in-depth reviews, maybe after the finale of the shows, however, would be very much appreciated on my side. That you don't do that directly after the first impression is absolutely o.k.. But wouldn't it be interesting to discuss whether and/or how the perspective of the plotlines etc. may have changed after watching it the second time or in hindsight e.g. one or two weeks later? Maybe in one of your podcasts? Anyway, I will rewatch this and the previous reactions again with joy. Maybe my first take on this one last night was a bit too critical.

I imagine they included that first scene to hint at it on purpose. So you're always questioning why/how she got to this position.
