The game is a MOBA game has tons of lore but it has no effect on the game just the old 5v5 and 3 lanes.

When I watched it, it blew my mind the level of detail that goes into every character. All of them have backstories, motives, emotions. Arcane seems to have been made with love. This is far greater than the game it's based on, which barely has any story.

I love watching this again, alongside you guys. I detect a lot of great neat details in the animation, I was to wrapt up in the story, to see them the first time around. I have no connection with the game, what so ever, but this is now one of my most favored animation shows, ever. I so look forward to season 2 :) The only little complaint I have is,... well why only once per weak??? 😫 The release shedule was three episodes per week (there are three story chapters with each 3 episodes). How about releasing Chapter two and three each in one week (for example Monday, Wednesday, Friday). This will get you pretty nicely to the start of Moonknight 😁

So all of arcane is painted. The backgrounds are mostly 2d hand painted paintings. and then the assets used for the animation is all hand painted. There is NO CG other then occasionally large crowds. The rest is all manually animated

Saying there's no CG is very misleading — it's mostly CG in a technical sense, but a lot of the details and lighting are hand-painted rather than modeled or physically lit.
