Hector call's the cosplay at 27 minutes in, but it gets even better at the end.

Is it just me or does that intro go harder on patreon?

Often times when shows ride two time periods I'll not like one of the stories... but in this show I am so hyped each time it goes to either time period. Its all so good.

The Tuskens comb the sands. You see one of them using a big rake. They are looking for the black melons for the "milk" and creatures like the one they shoot in this episode for food. That creature probably hides in the sands to escape predators and the Tuskens have learned to comb for them.

Im just loving how 75% of the show at this point is just music, visuals and no talking. Story telling in its purest form

Got to give huge props to Joanna Bennett playing the ‘Tusken Warrior’, previously worked as stunt double to Brie Larson on Capt Marvel, Gal Gadot on Wonder Woman/JL

To be honest, in this episode I saw more similarities to the history of North American Indian, especially around the train. White hunters and railroaders used to shoot indieans and buffalow from the first trains. And the scenes within the tripe could also be seen as similar to American tribal culture. Gave me some Dance with the Wolf vibes.

Beautifully written, I love how Favreau is always focused on good storytelling and is able to creative always interesting plots and new characters.

Kia ora guys I am so enjoying seeing the tusken whakapapa. The tuskens seem to reflect a mix of indigenous cultures for me including the australian aborigines eg their Dreamtime Art has the 'spiral' design you see at the end as the tuskens and boba move around the fire. It is a symbol of a meeting place in the aboriginal culture. The final choregraphy was awesome! The fighting definitely reminiscent of taiaha and other polynesian cultures such as the fijians. Tem is doing a great job.
