We have been working on the next LoLU update quite a while now, and we have some news we want to share with you over the next couple days and weeks.
The first news is probably the most evident: Colors are back again! Yes, the days of the four color gameboy palette are (almost) gone.

If you're interested in the game/art  development aspect of it: For me as an artist, it's quite interesting to work in those very limited palettes (and I have mad respect for everybody who made art on a real gameboy, with all the technical limitations I'm thankful for not having). You have to find different solutions than those you're used to, and it's really fun to balance those limited colors against each other.
The shape of things and a good composition get far more important, too, so overall it's really a nice challenge that I can recommend.

Still, I'm happy to have all the colors I want on my disposal again.
I think you'll like seeing the Lockdown girls in color, too ;)
