Tomoe was especially beautiful, with white skin, long hair, and charming features. She was also a remarkably strong archer, and as a swordswoman she was a warrior worth a thousand, ready to confront a demon or a god, mounted or on foot. She handled unbroken horses with superb skill; she rode unscathed down perilous descents. Yesterday I received my 75mm Tomoe Gozen from Axis Mundi and I just had to share pictures with you because it'll be a while before I can get her onto the painting table. It's a wonderful sculpt with clean lines, a lot of flowing action and the kind of dynamism which is a hallmark of this series.
